Sleeper Cards (Bronze, Silver and Gold)

I know there are no more restrictions while playing myteam online but there are definitely some sleeper cards that I've used so far going through domination. I'm only halfway through but I thought I would share some insight on guys I have used.

    Bronze:
Trey Burke: He was my starting PG in the beginning before I upgraded that position. Nice jumpshot and good scorer if that is what you prefer from your PG.
Marquise Chriss: A monster bronze power forward. Not great with the post game but can get up and down the court really well and can make his free throws.

    Silver:
Marvin Williams: Awesome stretch 4. Probably my favorite player so far that I have used besides Emerald John Wall.

    Gold:
MKG: Not great offensively but defensive prowess helps lock up all the really good wings and he does really well finishing around the rim for me.

    Porzingis 76 Gold

You can't teach height in this game and 7'3 at PF with good speed is OP.

I bought a silver Brandon Jennings (72 OVR) when I first started the mode and he was actually really nice for me. He can get steals, he's fast, can get in the lane and pass, and can hit open jumpers. He also has some nice scoop layups.

Paul Milsap is a cheap gold and is invaluable on MyTeam. He does everything for me. He can post smaller or lesser defenders, faceup and drive on bigger guys. He can also rebound, pass for a big, and run in transition.

I got Mason Plumlee in my initial pack and he's also really good in his role. He's tall, long, and really athletic. He rebounds well and finishes at the rim well.

Bronze: Miles Plumlee, always been a favorite of mine in myteam. Gets boards, probably because of 90 vertical and 88 hustle. Athletic obviously, catches lobs and has nice dunk packages such as 360's. Blocks shots. Basically a bronze deandre.

        Silver:
        - Will Barton: nice ball handling, quick, decent shooter.
        - Vince Carter: Excellent releases all day, especially in the corner and from midrange. Decent all around threat really. Had a couple poster dunks. For the first time not my go to scorer anymore though, but still a solid 2nd or at worst 3rd option.

        Gold:
        - Matt Geiger: Big, good rebounder, 79 free throw. Feasts on smaller/weaker players in the post. Had a 20p 8r game with him earlier, mostly of post moves including a shaq like drop step poster dunk on a mismatch. Good to see him get a decent card this year.
        - Donyell Marshall: Great stretch 4. Good shooting, mobile and decent rebounder.
        - Derrick Rose: Probably not a sleeper though. Fast, great animations, reliable on the mid range jumper and taking it to the basket.

Biggest disappointment: Damon Jones (gold), 96 3pt and shooting 17%, all open A/B+ quality looks.

Josh Richardson. Very nice animations, can drive to the basket, and a 87 3p rating with some hot zones. Really nice silver.

Great suggestions guys, I might check out a few of these. Lets try and keep this thread alive as more cards are released into the mode.

Also, a dynamic duo of Dragic and Bledsoe is really really good!

Anyone playing bargain cards, for whatever reason, should be looking hard at Dynamic Duos to maximize value.

And Bledsoe and Dragic is a very nice guard combo, as long as there isn't a really physical SG to beat up on Dragic.

MCW + Tyreke is another nice combo. So is Rose + Noah. And Blake + Embiid.

Bronze: thon maker - 7'1 Can hit 3s and dunks on shorter defenders easily.

Silver: Shaun Livingston - big pg I use to post on smaller pgs for easy buckets. Plus a dynamic duo with thon maker.

Gold: Brook Lopez - cheap and he helped me beat domination with those hook shots.

He's also fast/quick for someone his size. Porzingis is comprable, but...

One thing very unexpected for Thon Maker is that he has, for a 7-footer, nice Ball Control and Speed with Ball: 71/71. For comparison, Porzingis is 61/47 here.

And compared to Porzingis, Maker is really strong: 63 versus 35.

He's pretty intriguing, all the more when paired with Livingston.

Mike Scott from the Hawks is a good Silver PF.

Can hit Pick & Fade 3's from the top all day long and is good around the rim too.

Re: Sleeper Cards (Bronze, Silver and Gold)

Willie Cauley Stein is still the fastest center in the league at 85 speed. Cody Zeller is second fastest at 80 speed. They still make a nice starter/backup combo like in 2K16.

Nerlens Noel plays like prime Dwight Howard: awful free throws, awful jump shooting, but amazing defense, dunks, and rebounding.

CJ Wilcox's 82 three and 82 steal make him a nice 3 and D bronze wing.

Eric Bledsoe is a great two-way point guard who can do a little bit of everything. Pair him with Dragic at the SG and you have a nice dynamic duo backcourt that takes me back to my 2K15 days when I used to run a lot of play now online with the Suns team that had Gerald Green and Isaiah Thomas.

                          Silver:
Marvin Williams: Awesome stretch 4. Probably my favorite player so far that I have used besides Emerald John Wall.
Starvin Marvin is the best 500 MT I've spent so far. The Felton/Marvin pick and fade is real nice with that dynamic duo boost.

Calderon and Covington are another good guard/forward pick and fade duo. Convington's release is slow but super easy to get green releases on.

I didn't really use Silvers or Bronzes so much, so I'll recommend some Gold and Emerald players (you already mentioned Porzingis, he is amazing):

                            Gold:

                            -Chandler Parsons
Even though his stats don't really speak out for him, he is very solid. His 85 open shot 3 is very nifty, as well.

                            -Pau and Marc Gasol
Pau is better at outside scoring and defensive rebounding, Marc is more athletic and better at defending than his brother. Both are very good budget options for center.

                            -Brook Lopez
Speaking of centers - Brook Lopez is a monster when attacking. Perfect for Domination, because you want to focus on the offensive.

                            Emeralds:

                            -Dan Majerle
Look at those outside scoring and defending stats... He is cheap atm, because of Throwback Packs.

                            -Jason Terry
                            See Dan Majerle.

They're also a Dynamic Duo, so one could try running Pau at 4 and Marc at 5. Pau can shoot from distance, so one doesn't necessarily have to run a 3-2 offense. But probably better.

                              -Dan Majerle

Okay, but should note on Terry that he's a terrible defender.
