Is there anybody out there that has success with the defensive awards.
I believe I understand how most of them work and the things a player needs to accomplish to win them, but for linebackers, corners, and safeties....these awards can be like wishing on a star.
Heading into my 5th year of franchise and my lead corner is the #1 cornerback in the game. He is a monster. My entire defense is a monster, but this corner is special. It would be nice if he could get some acknowledgement before this defense gets downgraded due to salary constraints. I was just wondering if INT's is the only thing that Madden takes into consideration when it rates the exploits of corners and safeties. My guy can barely get any because cpu qb's will NOT throw to his side.
Additionally, my linebackers have a hard time getting sacks because the offensive line takes their threat rather seriously leaving my Ends and Nose Tackle all the premium sack opportunities.
Any thoughts are welcome.
