Just played my first game with the patch and won 35-23 vs. the Broncos. Was a weird game where I was up 35-14 at half and absolutely shredded their D for over 400 yards in the first half. Actually ran the ball really well and had a couple huge runs which was unusual. Got ultra conservative and made a couple bad decisions in the second half and it nearly cost me but my defense made a play late. Still would like to see the CPU be smarter especially when it comes to fourth quarter situations. Denver had the ball 4th & 4 at my 8 with just over eight minutes to go and opted for the 25-yard FG. Not a huge issue but in a game like that I'd have much rather seen them going for it there. Couple more things:

• The QB definitely seemed more active, kind of in an odd way but I was definitely noticing consitently more movement than I did in games before. Still though, I ended up with 6 sacks and all but one was of the stand for an eternity variety. Of the 10 incompletions Simian threw, five were throw aways but going to have to play more games. Also had a play where Simian went to throw as he got hit and the ball just popped straight up in the air for a fumble. Can't stand those.
• Am I missing something or does the Man Align adjustment not work at all? There's still issues with the Auto-Flip and 3 receivers to one side where you'll end up with a player in man coverage on a receiver on the other side of the field and when I do the man align adjustment, nobody moves at all.
• Slight frustration but I really wish I could pick the kick return of my choosing and that fourth downs didn't default to suggestions. Also don't understand why they keep making kicking easier. Has to be online play because offline for me feels absolutely automatic.
• Wind indicator was correct in the game I played. Don't know if that was fixed or not but it was working properly.

Might have to adjust some sliders but this game was a lot more fun than the game I played yesterday. Didn't have any "WTF" moments but I'm going to play another game against the Seahawks now and see how it goes.

I have had issues with "Man Align" not working correctly also; very frustrating. I believe this is a priority fix..

I am also not seeing my team shading inside or outside, while I can see that the CPU shades inside and out; this makes me question how well Over and Under shading really works.

Just don't tell my wife. Telling her I can't save it has gotten me many extra hours of game time. An awesome feature for us that can't guarantee to have that hour when we crank it up.

I have had issues with "Man Align" not working correctly also; very frustrating. I believe this is a priority fix..

I am also not seeing my team shading inside or outside, while I can see that the CPU shades inside and out; this makes me question how well Over and Under shading really works.

I think the over/under works well enough.

The inside/outside ...... I don't think it's ever worked for the human side.

It can't be just me, Someone else has to notice this, Since the patch and the new tuner, Playing Human,vs.CPU, play of the moment, or CPU vs CPU.. in offline franchise. The CPU teams PUNTER will only punt line drives for about 40 yds that bounce. It doesn't matter if its with the wind or against it. Every single punt is a low line drive. 3 games, same punt every time. I can't be the only person this is happening too. Some one else has to notice this. I didn't notice it immediately after the patch, really wasn't paying that much attention, Was watching for other things. But after the tuner, I am getting this every game. Does anyone else see this or am I just haunted with bad luck. ?

Not sure CC, I played a offline CFM indoors and the Vikings punter was kicking the ball OUB and keeping it away from Cobb. All the punts were high and angling out the sideline.

just simmed a couple of drafts. much better.

1. quality of players is lower and therefore more realistic.

2 the distribution of positions taken in the first round is more accurate. for instance, only two QB had a first round grade. no OG. only a couple of non-pass rushing LB.

just feels better.

Thanks Roadman. I appreciate it. I just don't get it, I have tried 4 or 5 games now, Just partials to see if it changes, But it is every game with these low line drive punts watching CPU vs. CPU. My punter is fine. I do see improvement in other areas. But this is a killer for me. Have you played since DL the new tuner. ? I am at a loss, don't know why it is doing that. Maybe I will build a complete new franchise and see if that helps. I still can't save without getting the blue screen and Error code. I love this game but it is driving me crazy. I have things happen to me that no one else seems to experience. I'll try deleting the new tuner if I can, I don't play Online anyway. Please if you or anyone notices this, let me know so that I don't think I'm crazy.. Always nice communicating with you. We go back a long way..

Dude this is happening to me too!

I'm playing my Patriots CFM, game 3 against Houston and EVERY SINGLE time they punt they do this low line drive right at my first row of players and one of them jumps on it, for a super short punt.

No one else is having this??

I can't even play all of a sudden.. I tried re-starting the game a couple times but it keeps happening.

Didn't see it in the notes but does this mean update 1 is now applied for offline franchises too!?

They had only made the tweaks for online and I never saw anything mentioned about a carry over to offline.

Yep just happened to me line drive punt by the CPU 29 yards. Also CPU running game is now terrible as well. Quarterbacks don't throw out of bounds like they use to instead just stand waiting to be sacked. Hmm I don't know shouldn't have download this patch had a great thing going before, was 3 and 6 with the Browns and now Iam beating the Ravens 23-0 at halftime. Maybe I'll trying deleting my profile see if that does anything

Played one game and lost 20-17 to Bills. Hard to say what has changed after one game. Felt similar. I did see a non qb fumble and I was sacked once and never fumbled. Stretch play defence seemed a bit better. One thing I did notice was tackling from behind seemed better. Receivers made catches and we're tackled rather than race to end zone. CPU DBS had hands of glue on interceptions. I threw a bunch and they made me pay every time.

Didn't seem like a huge difference or anything but I only played one exhibition game. Sideline awareness was still bad. Tyrod Taylor did scramble once but didn't move around much other than that.

Pretty disappointing that they still havent fixed fumble recoveries being blown dead despite the defender not being touched or even being tackled in some instances.
