'doin work' grinding for attributes is tedious

its so tedius having to do several practice sessions in between every game and go through loads of loading screens to just to get a single attribute upgrade. this is a joke, how is this fun?

    I agree.

Also it takes 800 years for our player to enter into the mycourt. We have to watch him slowly open the door and walk and everything.

...this was done because people complained back in 2k13/14 about being able to "Buy" your 99 overall. I don't hate it, but I also don't like it. I work 50-60 hours a week. It took a day and a half of grinding to get all the badges and almost all my attributes.

....it's very tedious, but I once again don't hate the idea of having to grind the later half of your upgrades.

3 Alternatives I'd like to see:

        - Let us have the option to earn these in Park/ProAm. What's better practice than playing against other people?

        - Let us Simulate it. If I could just simulate them and not watch my guy do bench presses, that'd be nice. I could schedule them on my calendar and get a pop up similar to Endorsement Events.

        - Put all that workout equipment in my MyCourt (or make my MyCourt the team's Gym), so I don't have to load the Gym and then load back into the MyCourt (this is where the tedious part comes in).

Any of these. Any of these at all, really.

All I know is that it took from the very beginning of the season until a week before All-Star break to earn 25 attribute point upgrades. So use that math to figure out how long it would take to earn all 125 you can get by playing offline.

            .... that's a lot of vertical jumps

Whats the point of simulating it? Do you think there would be a single person on this planet that would NOT simulate their practices then?

Lets face it, I have to defend 2k a little bit here. No matter what they do to make it interesting people will always find it tedious after the first few practices. Its a video game, people wanna play, not pratice. The first few practices are mostly fun because its all new to you, but then it gets tedious and you only get +1 stamina yeah, what did you expect? That you should have a maxed out stamina after the first practice?

2k cant do it right...most people just wanna get to 99 OVR asap and have fun in MyCareer.

The only thing that 2k could improve on right now imo is to try to reduce the loading times, its really annoying. For 2k18 they should connect the gym and your mycourt, I like that.

Just wait until you get to 95 where they are no longer valuable

Man y'all need to take that My Park/Pro Am stuff to it's its own seperate mode. It's ruining the game and for those who actually wanna play MY CAREER

Then what's the point of having a game mode called My Career. What NBA players spend his time getting better playing arcade at the park? If y'all want Call of Duty make that ish separate from the offline players

How about they just give us both ways?

Or you know eliminate VC from the equation and give us skill points back to upgrade our players like in 2k11. But we all know that aint gonna happen.

I agree the practice grind is tedious, but I'd rather it be this way then being able to hit max attributes in no time. I'd like a little bit of a challenge instead of having a 99 OVR rookie for those of us that actually play MyCareer and not just park.

I wish for Pro AM and Park that they did it like NHL. Set player classes, even field, game comes down to skill. Or maybe make badges earnable only online. I don't like having to grind and I wonder if that's how the devs want us to play, especially since it's all rather mysterious.

But that will never happen because in a game like this, player variety and animation customizing is a big deal. And that evil thing called virtual currency.
