I am curious who is working on playbooks right now for xbox. I am looking at updating a couple teams so let me know.

DEFENSIVE PLAYBOOKS

For the defensive play books here is what I did. First off, I used each teams base defense and didn't really add any new plays outside of that. I wanted everyone to still have the ability to use formation subs in cfm still. I also eliminated (in the star ratings as I did not delete from the playbook as just in case a user wants to use it) all cover 0 plays for the CPU. I did all the audibles, assigned all blitzes to zone blitzes or man blitzes with 1 deep safety. I have all the stars rated the same for now for variety. I also added plays and deleted plays for different situations. Gone forever is the 3rd and 15 double safety blitz or cover 0 plays called by the CPU!

Edit: there is a glitch with defensive playbooks with the wildcat and empty packages. Default books have nickel sets for empty packages. I changed to dime, dollar, and quarters but it will not save. Same with the wildcat so again it's a glitch I can't do anything about. They were changed in playbooks but when saved it defaults back except gives plays higher star ratings for some reason...

Yeah I have those. Just curious if anyone has updated them further especially after watching week 1. As the weeks go on new plays and formations will be revealed. Thought it would be fun to add some here and there to give it a more realistic feel to the game planning.

I am putting up a PS-4 Defensive PB in the Vault. Was made from default 4-3 generic book.

Key Word will be: DVR43PB

I hope an expert can take a look and let me know how it can be improved and if necessary how to attach stars to certain plays per situation in Game Plan.

So I have been working on a custom playbook using the Carolina playbook and added some formations I have seen from the titans to use when I start my titans cfm. However, I also made adjustments to the gameplan so others could use it but have ran into a snag. I keep seeing the cpu call for a punt on first and second down in my tests 4-5 times a game.

So is there a glitch I am not aware of with custom playbooks?

Is there any way to get audibles to save for offline franchise on PS4? I know this has been a legacy issue, and I'm wondering if there's any workaround or trick.
I'm willing to use a team playbook OR a custom playbook. Whatever it takes to not have to set audibles EVERY game.

So I tried this in a Offline CFM
Ps4

And custom Sabo Philly playbook wouldn't work. Crashed during game loading -- but generic west coast play book works.. Knocks on wood- currently in first quarter

Update on the game I am using Roverts / mizzou 9-24 update simulationOS rosters.
Tried the Custom Pb 2controller / 2 profile method-- game kept crashing with Philly custom pb -- rolled with generic west coast

Offline Browns CFM All pro default - Fast game speed-- Dskins auto subs

Game results I thought it was a fluke game - I forced wentz into 2 first half Ints

Cody Kessler started 14/14 206 yds 3tds

It was a great game until the 4th as far as immersion. CPU WAS SO FRESH Wentz entered 4th 19/29 248yds 2td 3 int. I had a 55-21 lead.

The EAGLES SCORED 35 forth quarter points!! 2 Defensive touchdowns on fumbles. I survived the hell madden switch the CPU turned on. Kicking a game winning 58 yard fg.

Kessler finished 22/24 418yards 5tds
Crow 24-176 td (69 yard shovel option)
Duke - 7-70 td (49yard long zone read)

CPU was great game was great until 4th quarter.
Keep in mind half time was 31-14


Wentz finished with 434 4 tds - 3int
Ryan Matthews 13-97 2 tds

I've seen crazy but I thought I was gonna lose it when philly tied up game scoring 35 in 4th - crazy thing I scored 13 in the 4th as well - 48 points put up in 13 min quarter. CPU offense also had schemes adjusted - moved QB scheme to mobile and Wentz was constantly moving in pocket we sacked him 3 times . But most QB movement I've seen - he didn't ever scramble either

To the guys who have made custom books, can you only use a certain amount of stars during the entire customization? I've downloaded several other user books and seen a lot of them are just plays picked from default books, therefore they're still 'starred' the same. I tried messing with the star ratings but got to the point you could only rate plays half a star. I saw somewhere in this thread that if you rate every play half a star for every situation the CPU play calling is unpredictable. Anyone have insight into this? Thanks

Too many plays in a situation causes the game to crash. I think you can have no more than 100-125 per situation before that starts happening. I haven't had an issue and I have all 32 teams done without adding any new plays to the book.
