So after the patch but with out the tuner I have started to get the running game back to where it needs to be for both me and CPU but I still need to get QB accuracy where it needs to be. I know it was said that this patch didn't change accuracy but it did. Before the patch I had CPU accuracy at 33 and was getting good results. Now with the patch and with CPU accuracy at 30 ever game there completion % is like 70-80. Before the patch I had mine at 25 and was getting good results and now mine is to high to. I think I am going to try CPU accuracy at 25 and mine between 15-20 and see what happens.

Actually, that came from Clint on Twitter.

I just find it difficult to not take a developers word for it.

It's very believable that they didn't touch QB Acc at all, but perhaps, perhaps, something else triggered it w/o their knowledge.

Clint did say they would look at it.

And I just saw a AP default game on twitch from one of the slider makers, Cutler(user) was 51% passing and Osweiler (AI) 62% passing.

No Rob QB on either side.

I can't wait to try out his settings.

It's on AM and the sliders are from Charter with some tweaks, I think. But yeah, it's insane. Newton, 21/24, almost 300 yrds with no miss throws. x)

Yeah, there has been people that have been complaining that something happened on AM after the patch with AB ACC.

I just watched a twitch stream on AP and robo QB could not be found at all. Cutler was 55% and Osweiler 62%

So, it doesn't appear to happen on all levels.

For me, it's not only Robot QB. It seems like ratings are not really effective on AM. I can play with the Broncos or the Panthers but the defense is just awful. In fact, for me, everyting seems broken on AM since the patch.

It's weird re: difficulty levels because before the patch, AM was playing a much straighter game than I'd ever seen in Madden. I wasn't seeing the false steps by defenders who would run away from the play to create opportunities from the CPU, I was seeing balanced QB play, etc. It became my default level this year.

Then, after the patch, AM started playing like the AM of old and AP seemed much more balanced. The tell for me was the fact that every game for the CPU became a 500-yard, 40-point affair, regardless of the CPU team talent, and with no major changes to my style of play.

I'm sure they didn't intend for side effects like this to happen, but it seems to me that the levels play very differently after the patch.

A related issue that I'm seeing on both AP and AM is the nerfing of the pass rush. Pre-patch, I was seeing lots of edge pressure and as good a variety of pass rushes as Madden can deliver, but post-patch, I'm seeing all rushers get super-glued to the OL for the duration of the play more often than not. This is contributing to massive offensive numbers for the CPU because of the lack of pass rush.

Weird.

I'm sure you know the CPU ratings do get a boost on AM.

Trojan, I hear you, but on AP, for me, my monster rushers, Mathews, Daniels and Peppers all get their sacks in the game post patch.

Also, the game that was streamed on AP default, JJ Watt had 3 sacks, 9 tackles and 6 tackles for losses.

I can't tell you about AM, I just have never played on that level.

Right and I understand that but when I am seeing higher CPU completion % and less bad passes with the slider at 30 then I was seeing with it at 33 before the patch and when my completion % is higher at 20 then it was at 25 before the patch something is going on and this is on all pro I don't have the skill to play on all madden never have.

How did you quantify "less bad passes"?

All I know is that the game was tested on AP default sliders 6 to 9 minute quarters. Any tinkering with sliders above or below default might affect the results.
