Since people who did the glitch to get to a 98ovr are not being punished, I think 2k should come out and just give the upgrades earned from the park to everybody. That way its even.

They should do that, but they most likely wont. So cheaters wont be banned, and their teams will be in the tournament, that 2k integrity.

The Online CAPS for Myplayers are harsh as is, being a 98 overall only allows you a few more attribute points to fill out your capped myplayer. Being a 98 overall doesnt have the same effect as being a 99 overall in past games, where you were more well rounded. even as a 98 overall, you wind up sacrificing one area of your game just to get to that overall. It's really not that serious, just play good team basketball and everything should be fine.

My playmaking on my post scorer would be maxed if I were a 98, how is that not an advantage? If you can't strip me and I can pass more accurately than a 95 post scorer. It's not that serious, until you realize some of the top 20 teams on the rankings are filled with 98s, and those teams have a better shot at the RTTF.

They should just let everyone earn up to 150 and call it a year. They obviously can't/couldn't execute the limits how they wanted so why punish only the non-glitchers.

there is also plethora of players who just played normally,even bought vc for progression, and got too much upgrades unintentionally . How would it be fair in this case ?

I got 126 upgrades, dunno how (not even spending last upgrade) , exact same to my friend. Also there were other thread about this and some people posting screens of getting too many upgrades without knowing about 125 limit.
Game doesn't even tell u only have 125/150 upgrades by playing mc and somebody who plays since launch could easily encounter glitch by accident and unlock 130-150 upgrades .

My buddy is a 98 and he has like 16-18 open slots to fill , no way the logic of having that many open attribute upgrades equals being a 98. If your a true 98 there is no way you should have that many open upgrades available still as you are 1 point off of being "perfect". It might say 98 but no way that can be the case, you take those attributes and apply them to a CAP (think I seen a post on this issue anyway) and you cannot be a 98 overall. I'm not condoning and making excuses for the people that do it, I just don't see how you can be a 98 overall rating with those many upgrades left to use. 2k is inflating ratings on mycareer.

Are the glitched people still capped at 135?

Having 135 makes you a 99, so are we saying that these people figured out a way to get 135 attributes without having to be a Legend or they figured out a way to get all 150 Attributes?
