Suddenly become garbage at MTO, help!

I need someone to help direct me back to the basics lol because I've suddenly become garbage.

So I hit my groove in the Emerald and Sapphire leagues, finishing 11-0.

But then, after starting 2-1 in the Ruby league, I've tanked. I've lost 6 straight games. 6! My opponents haven't even been that great, I'm just getting destroyed... on offense I'm stagnant, can't create anything and I always have to resort to P&R which either I can't run or people are now great at defending.

On defense... well, I've always sucked there, but yeah. I can barely on-ball because the slight lag always makes me overcommit or let people zig zag around me (yet when I try and zig zag **** don't work lol). So I play off-ball with the center but I'll get wrecked in the P&R.

Wtf happened to me guys lol. Anyone got any pointers?

were you always using such a good team? Running a line-up like that will get you matched up with better players. This is one of the first Pay-to-Lose games ever made

No I usually run a 94 but I've been doing a 98 lately, and I have played better teams. Such a stupid system, can we complain to 2K somehow about that lol. But I don't think it's my only issue :/

Your lineup nice on paper but to be honest MTO all about shooting and having a PF or Center that can at least shoot helps. Because that kill those off ball users and 90% of the time you gonna face them so having 2 starting bigs who can't shoot already put you at a disadvantage.

Your lineup nice on paper but to be honest MTO all about shooting and having a PF or Center that can at least shoot helps. Because that kill those off ball users and 90% of the time you gonna face them so having 2 starting bigs who can't shoot already put you at a disadvantage.

Some people get so mad if you play off ball, they don't know what to do when they can't lose their man turboing back and forth

Whenever I hear people talking about going undefeated it blows my mind. I've been trying to get these dang Diamond shoes from the Emerald league for what seems like forever!

For some reason I always end up playing someone insane in the first game and then it gets easier from there. I usually lose the first game and then finish 5-1 or 5-2. It's killing my motivation to play MTO, it's like playing pre-season games over and over

I'm currently facing the same kind of issues, going undefeated for 4-5 games then getting tired and give up one...

Haha I'm actually on Xbox One but glad to hear (or not glad to hear? Lol) people are having similar issues. I don't really use defensive settings, I'll have to check that out. Thanks!

Sometimes running pnr constantly is what makes your offense stagnant. You gotta choose a freelance offense your comfortable with and just pass the ball around and your players will get into better positions. Manual PnR just makes your guys stand still.
