Universe theme

So every year I make a custom universe, with a theme. Last year the theme was Old vs New -- with basically older wrestlers/legends holding the titles and high spots on the card and young guys trying to claw their way to the top. I set up the rivalries manually, and edited the title rankings manually to make sure it played out the way I want it.

This year (after watching some late 90's WWE and getting some inspiration) I'm thinking of going with a kind of "gang wars" universe.

Everyone in my universe will be part of a group. Basically, they'll be set up like this:

1) Main guy (world title contender only)
2) 2nd in charge (secondary title contender only)
3) Tag team (tag team title contender only)

So I've got some teams in mind, but I'd like 2-3 more, so suggestions are VERY welcome.

1) Wyatt Family
2) Hart Foundation (Bret, Davey, Pillman & Neidhart)
3) NWO (Dusty, Perfect, Hall & Nash)
4) 4 Horsemen (Flair, Rude, Arn & Larry Z)
5) Team NXT (Joe, Hideo, Dash & Dawson)
6) DX (Shawn, Hunter, NAO)

**I've got an idea of basing a team around Brock. I'm thinking Brock, Swagger, American Alpha.

Also thinking of doing Rock, Rikishi, and Uso's.

Maybe a WCW team (Goldberg, Booker T or DDP, Sting & Luger)

Itami doesnt fit with the Joe and The Revival.

I always had the idea of a NXT version of the Horseman with Tyler Breeze)in the Flair role), someone in the Luger/Windham role (Corbin) and The Revival in the tag team role (Andersons/Anderson-Blanchard)

It might be interesting to put Cena at the top of that group, with the Miz going after the IC, and Ziggler/Ryder in the tag division. They have good chemistry on twitter, maybe they will as a tag unit, too.

I'm also thinking of a knockoff of league of nations, but with just European guys. Rusev, Finn, Sheamus & Cesaro.

It might be interesting to put Cena at the top of that group, with the Miz going after the IC, and Ziggler/Ryder in the tag division. They have good chemistry on twitter, maybe they will as a tag unit, too.

I dont think Cena fits with that group. I see it as more of a cocky kind of group. Maybe Tyler Breeze.

As for the 4 Horsemen, you could consider Pillman or Lugar. Both were members at one point, and for a minute, neon Sting was a member.

Modern day Varsity Club would be cool. Bo Dallas is an obvious choice, he could be the "Rick Steiner" of the group and he is related to Mike Rotundo anyway. Swagger, Stunning Steve maybe......

You could add Tyson Kidd to the Hart Foundation.

Dusty can't be in the NWO though! Savage would work though. The '00 version of Big Show since he was a legit member at one point.

Dungeon of Doom: Typhoon, Earthquake, Bam Bam Bigelow, Big Boss Man, just need a leader. Bray Wyatt could be perfect if it weren't for the Wyatt Family.

Mr. Perfect with Curtis Axel would be cool (father/son), or you could go all out AWA and let Perfect team with Scott Hall and feud with Zbysko and DDP.

Dusty Rhodes and Steamboat would be a good pair, or Steamboat and Cena as they both have/had looooong careers while never turning heel.

Those are just some crazy thoughts off the top of my head, but their really are a ton of possibilities for a fun universe.
