Toss up a bad shot, run back at half court and cut the ball handler off while they are speeding up the court then hold your nuts...voila....thank me later

Have you actually succeeded in that ? Cause I never got a charge that way

Yeah I've tried that as well, no dice. Same result. Either goes right around me or lightly glances off me

Don't think I've seen a charge inside of the paint yet. All the charges I see are from turboing down court and running into someone.

Yes that's been my strategy. Grinding for 3 games for this badge. 0 charges so far

Drawing charges has never worked in 2K. Try NBA Live 10 for proper simulation of drawing charges.

I've been ran over by opponents charging full speed in a straight line while I literally stood there, toppled over and didn't even a call either way. In NBA Live 10 you could actually draw charges and it was based on positioning and also if the opponent was using turbo.

Try drawing them off of PNR. I drew one doing this method, but the other 3 I drew CPU pushed off of me while playing aggressive on ball defense and I got the call that way so I got lucky in a sense.

Yea i feel like the cpu cheats. ill set up for a great charge and the cpu will do this impossible dribble move thru my character and not register a charge OR hit me and bounce off. Once the cpu knocked me over and carried on his merry way. frustrating. I need Charge Card for my LDD

I got charge card on my GC fairly easy...Remember, you have soooo many opportunities to do this, so no rush. You'll get it easier playing on rookie.

I think I got it in about 8-9 games (you only need 5-7 charges i believe). I got pretty much all of mine from the PG running up court. The problem is, this doesn't always happen. Some teams naturally have a slower pace, and A LOT of the times I did get the animation where they just kinda bump off you. The key is to be patient. I never had more than 1 charge in a game. Work on other offensive badges with this one so you aren't wasting too much time.

Long story short, i got this in two ways:
1) When the opposing team sets a pick and roll, take a charge where the ball handler is going. I think I had two this way, and it's a lot more predictable/easier.

2) When the opposing ball handler is bringing the ball up the court (especially in transition), there's a sweet spot right around the half court line where you can get charges. You have to get a feel for it, but you'll know when you do. Got 5 this way.

For the lazy people, here is some of what he said...

 "Get them when CPU calls for PNR and hold your nuts in the direction where the pick is set towards ball handler. The ball handler ALWAYS uses the screen and never rejects it. This is how I got most of my charges last year.

Just tested your strategy and it worked looks like I will eventually be getting hall of fame charge card after all if I keep this up!

I will give it another try tonight and hope one of these methods works. Unfortunately I have no more performance badges to work for...this is the last one. Hoping to get 7 charges within another 3 games but I doubt that will happen lol
