I can't be the only who's noticing this about Bigs rebounding

I play fantasy Myleague and started over so many times and notice every center I get plays like they are Rodman. I don't want my center getting almost 20 rebounds a game. The gaurds and SF are not getting enough rebounds. My center that comes off the bench is averaging 10 rebounds and he's barely getting 20 mins.

Yeah I agree; I think the problem is the lack of enough long rebounds.

Yup I see this as well, my starting Centers and PFs always get double digit in rebounds and my guards are not getting enough.

Lack of long rebounds and also height difference plays a huge role in NBA 2K17.

I turned down my rebounding sliders to 35 off / 25 def for both CPU and USER. My guards have typically done reasonably well but when someone like Drummond shows up its game over

I went further and dropped them down to 10/15. It plays ok and the results are actually not bad, but as you said - once a rebounder is on court they just inhale them.

I don't mind rebounding this year at all though. It's so much better than other years. It's an amazing improvement.

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

            Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

I haven't purchased 2k17 but from the previous installments that doesn't seem abnormal

I TRIED to get at leas 4 or 5 boards a game with guards but it's a pretty tough accomplishment

I disagree, I've never had trouble averaging 5+ rebounds with a guard that I will control for most of the game.

I think this question would go well on this thread....

Does anyone know what to adjust to give more animations of tipping the ball around during a rebound. I see it about 3 times a game, and would like to see more of it.

ahhh, difference is in the word 'control'

If I'm primarily playing as a guard I've got no problem avg the same amount, however, I'm usually a PF/C in NBA games and in those cases it barely happens. Too many 15+ board games for my bigs

I tried a couple of games with all reb sliders at 0 and then at 100 and didnt notice this changed it.

The tips and bobbles are great; let's see more of them next year.

Yeah, I'm all about realism, and the fact that there's too many rebounds in general... This may decrease them a bit.

I think there are few things they can tweak to get it more realistic:

                          - CPU rebounding reaction and consistency. CPU always make perfect timing jumps, even when the ball bounces off the rim many times, and perfect grabbing, no dropping. So if the ball falls in their range, there is no way they can miss unless they are boxed out and you are tall enough to challenge. Basically, they are the net that would collect the ball 99% of the times leaving guards less chances.

                          - Rebounding tendency of the guards. By reducing big men efficiency, the guards will have more chances if they have higher tendency to cut inside and grab the ball.

                          - Ball bouncing direction should be varied more as mentioned by Dirk.

Honestly, tendencies in general is one of the thing that I hope they would fix for my career since we have no access to sliders in this mode. A lot of things about game play, not just rebounding, can be much more realistic by just adjusting the tendencies.

Like Dirk, I have tried lowering the sliders. I find that lowering rebound sliders and vertical helps, but as a result you see very few blocks. Lowering rebounds tends to make guys just dumb more so than better looking/feeling rebounds. Not all the time, but a bit.

More tips and bobbles are needed. I think they look great and feel organic. This game has needed it for a very long time.
