Another Madden NFL 17 tuning update is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, check out the details below.

• Tuned down aggressive catch win chances in 2 man catch interactions.
• Tuned down aggressive catch win chances vs swat in 2 man catch interactions.
• RAC catch penalty from trailing defender proximity reduced.
• Strip ball mechanic tuned down.
• Increased risk of broken tackles when attempting strips.

Strip feature might as well just be removed if they just going to keep reducing its effectiveness. This is just sad.

So the RAC catch wasn't tuned in any other modes? What problem were people having with the strip button? I would always miss tackles when using it, I found it most successful when guys had just broken a tackle or were in a stumble animation. Did they nerf it completely?

It might have been changed in previous tuners but this one that just came out only applies to MUT.

I would really love to see the CPU punting fixed. I just had a game where the CPU averaged 25 yards a punt

I would imagine that the strip being tuned down affects the ai so now even less fumbles. They need to just make a game for online players where there are no turnovers or random events and let the sim offline players have a game with realistic results.

It appears it is for all modes. I have done website updates before and it is common to copy lead ins for updates and then post the update. This appears to be a copy and paste error in reference to the MUT part.

They didn`t reduce the strip ball thing and AC? At this point i feel they are rushing on tuning gameplay without proper testing.

Personally i think they should focus on fixing bugs and leave gameplay tuning for stuff that are just broken and not personal preference.

Then test and test and test and make it right for Madden 2018.

Sorry to inform you, there are a ton of online sim players. Not everyone who plays online is a tourney/lobby player.

It is sad they keep nerfing the strip.Just take the feature out then, dang.

Then they need to make a tourney mode and quit destroying the things that made madden 17 dynamic out of the box. This is just madden 16 at this point and trending downward.

Sorry, but this has to be asked:

How many games of Madden 17 have you played since they dropped this tuner, and what settings? And how many fumbles are you averaging (statistics please) DUE TO THE STRIP MECHANIC prior to and after the update.

Everyone needs to stop overreacting. Play it first, then record stats, then come back.
