Bump turnovers are still in the game.....
I mean it is not too frequent,I get them about twice a game in 12 minute quarters. I still cringe whenever it happens. When,if ever are they are going to fix bump turnovers? It is by far the most annoying, consistent thing I experience playing 2K. It has been for years now...

You ran into a stationary dude for absolutely no reason. That turnover is on you, not the game. -

What exactly is wrong with bump turnovers? If you dribble into someone should the ball not be knocked loose?Comment

Re: Bump turnovers are still in the game.....
OP's clip may not be a good example but from my experience I can't even do moving crossovers in the half court without losing the ball this year. In past years I could do it without a problem.
You know when you start driving one way and the defender cuts you off so you want to use a counter move? My favorite is a simple crossover but that's not really an option this year. A lot of videos on youtube suggest using the BTB move but I just hate how much ground it covers and how unrealistic it looks in that situation(plus you can still lose the ball that way on HOF).
I've adjusted my game accordingly and now I just stop and use the standing cross. Perhaps this is 2k's way of making us change the way we play?
Just thought I'd comment because it annoyed the all living bajeezus outta me for a while before I adjusted.Comment

Re: Bump turnovers are still in the game.....
Man I looked at the thread title and thought you were going to use a better example than this lol cmon man.
There is a bump animation that put you in this animation where the guy goes off into a dead ball type situation like he got fouled and just drops the ball like the play stopped.
THIS however is a straight up steal he just flopped after the ball was loose like he got bumped.Comment

Re: Bump turnovers are still in the game.....
I hate this new animation with a passion. Since when a decent ballhandler trip over the ball like this ? Just because he brushed past a defender. Close dribbles aint safe but they existLast edited by Nwordbelike; 11-06-2016, 04:38 AM.Comment

Re: Bump turnovers are still in the game.....
Dribbling in traffic does seem impossible though, not just this year it has been that basically every 2k I can remember. Like go watch Kyrie or Wade or whoever split and dribble within traffic like a magician. You try that in 2k and you get stripped or dribble it off your/someone else's far too frequently. (The real issue now that I think of it is the just dribbling it off somebody's leg like my guy has no spacial awareness).Comment

I like the bump steals, it prevents dribble cheeses a chance to get ruined by crowding the dribbler. I just wish my HOF pickpocket be more effective.Comment

Sometimes you break an ankle but the defender on the ground makes you stumble over the ball, SMHComment

Re: Bump turnovers are still in the game.....
It is very annoying when the computer's ball handler dribbles through my leg, foot, neck and my back (before the patch it was always a score now not so much) yet when I try to do a cross over while attacking the basket as the CPU the ball physics works perfectly and I end up losing the ball..it'd be great if the ball physics worked the same for HCTs as well as CCts (human, computer controlled teams)
