So I took my LDD to the Park and I'm not sure if it was just a Park thing but it felt really non responsive on D. wasn't really feeling it. Also I was the only one playin defense so if I left to help my teammate the the Sharpshooter I was guarding was open. Annoying. Pro Am walk on was a little better but is a bit of a cluster**** in the paint. I think my LDD will be a ProAm guy but playing with randoms <<< maybe if I can get on a team it'll be better. Since defense in the Park is dismal I may just badge up my Shot Creator and try him in the park OR go back to my Athletic Finisher

PSA: I recommend that no one create a shot creator at this point. If you want to score with a perimeter player, create a sharpshooter. This new patch made shot creators so bad man. Smh

Pretty much you have to be WIDE open to make shots consistent. Essentially shot creators are watered down sharpshooters. The arcehtype is meant to take and make tough shots after creating enough space to get a clean look to the hoop. Now, you pretty much have to be wide open to make anything semi consistently. Pretty much mid range deadeye, difficult shots, irrelevant. It's sad too because before this patch more people were beginning to see good this archetype could be but now they ruined. SMH. Going back to my sharpshooter at this point. What a shame.

its not that shot creator too weak, but how sharpshooter overpowered because hof limitless range badge and those extra range bank shots goes in as well as open dunks for slashers .

So this athletic finisher was killing my bigs. He was catching alleys all over them . And getting in perfect position for dunks. They wanted to double him . I decided to guard the playmaker who threw them using my LDD SF.

The PG had 9 assists and 2 TOs at halftime . By the end of the game he had 11 assists and 9 TOs lol. The LDD affect is real. I don't even have my grand badge yet.

2k: By keeping the games close, less people rage quit and it's more enjoyable for both parties. Would you rather have someone rage after 1 quarter of being dominated or be cheesed to keep him in it with a chance to steal the game if you make 1 mistake?

He rages, you get VC faster and they potentially lose a new customer. They cheese for him and they keep a new customer and an old player rage buys new players and packs to make his team better.

Can any post scorers tell me if hooks are effective in this game? Never see anybody use them in park or team up etc.
if you know how to use them they can be i personally stick to Dropsteppers, post fades their most consistent for me and also post spins. i love dropstepping the most though theirs nothing the defense can do if you time it right and bang your body into your defender for that drop step dunk animation especially if its on hall of fame. i love my glass cleaner but my post scorer is slowly becoming my main go to archetype build. + that 77 midrange if boosted 82

Now that the relentless finisher badge is fixed I really think the Slasher PG build is the best for a PG. My dude is ridiculous in game. I have a playmaker as well but I always go back to my Slasher. The Hall of Fame posterizer badge is seriously insane.

The Archetype is made to live off runners, Step backs, And hop steps. Are you shooting moving shots, or pausing to set? Paging EveretteWarren...

Ball handling is great and I actually don't have that badge yet. I've only got three of the five so far. It might take a while for me to get Acrobat because I rarely take mid-air change shots and reverse layups. But the one man fast break, relentless finisher and posterizer are seriously insane. If you are on a fast break and there is one guy waiting like 90 percent of the time you are dunking. Definitely dunking if it's a guard waiting for you. The playmaking skills are great and the shot off dribble is high as well. I think I'm shooting like 40 percent from three and I'm 50 games in the season. I do mid range pull ups all day and green those. I really think it's the best PG build.

Got ya . But you don't have to do change shots or reverse layups ! Just do eurosteps using the face button. I have it on my athletic finisher and LDD.

Okay cool. I'll have to try the euro step layups then. I rarely do those as well but I would like to get the badge eventually. Thanks for the tip.
