I dont know what to say and i dont know how many times people are commenting about this in the forum, but this is serious trouble. Sharpshooter / stretch big are ruined the game. This is very very unfair for other archtype like slasher, lockdown defender, etc. I cant deny, sharpshooter are the best archtype in the game. they shooting in every game like Prime curry especially when grand badge has been activated. Anywhere. Anytime. This is not fun anymore. I hope 2k devs read this and think about it. Still they are not patched until now. They are keep splashing like i said, ANYWHERE AND ANYTIME. To me this is not a basketball game anymore, but it feels like fantasy MMORPG GAME. They could hit 3's as long as they got screen assist from big men / brick wall from glass cleaner. This is not fun

badges & 90+ 3pt/speed with ball ruined the game
2k bring those cheese back..badges are the worst idea ever( this year 2k bring it to another level to destroy the balance..)...2k never fix the game play (ai unreal stealing concept,player response after lose ball,bump turnover) but keep adding useless stuff(double alley oops,cut screen,shot meter for layups..etc)

Sharpshooter is way more versatile than u think .- You can easily max out rebounding that will give 2nd chances on offense here and there
- you can hit floater and moving shots, caps on it are serviceable
- you can get 75+ ball control for elite dribbling packages and have a good combo of moves to go by your defender
- You can sneak in layups and dunks pretty easily because everyone guards you very tightly. You still get one of the best simple dunks packages that are hardest to chasedown block
On top of that HoF limitless range + Deep range deadeye is the strongest badge combo. You can't be the slightest late in contesting extra range deep 3s. All other badges very powerful as well.
No other archetype is as versatile and deadly.Comment

I've always wondered what it would be like to have a a 95+ rated sharpshooter with all those shooting badges in 2K16. I was a mere 88 with not one single badge because I refused to play My Career, but still beat guys with higher ratings on a regular.'Only The Strong Survive'Comment

It was always going to be the case. As soon as archetypes were announced, I made a post saying that you'd just get sharpshooters hiding behind screens.
If you want some genuine and sincere advice; don't worry about it. I was an L3 in 15, an L2, L1, and AS5 in 16, but I don't even play park this year because it's an increasingly terrible mode with games consisting of who can spam the same moves in the most successful fashion until someone hits 21pts.
2k has ruined career this year too, and it's all in the name of RTTF. Maybe if everyone deserts park for the rest of the games life cycle, then maybe they might have a serious rethink about where this game is heading because to say I think this game is poor is an understatement.
They've killed the fun factor completely, and resorted to gimmicky grand badges and other inane nonsense in my opinion. I just have no idea how this game sprung up.
I really respect people like Mike who play an active role on the forum and do their best to explain things, but man, I always think it's better to be honest about the product. This is not a good game.Comment
