Re: NBA 2K17 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Rosters Updated - Full Details Here
Mike- Please look into the double teaming in the next patch. The CPU logic just is not there to support it at this time. It is really killing the off-line experience. As soon as your player (particularly a star) scores 8 points or so, the CPU starts doubling from terrible positions, leaving scorers and post defenders wide open for easy baskets.
It would be really great if you could iust disable this double team feauture, or atleast allow us to turn it off. I hate to say things are broken, but this particular issue is really killing the experience for maby of us off-line guys.
(This is in play now games and Myleague. User vs CPU)
Thank you for your consideration.Comment

So, from what it sounds like, absolutely nothing has changed from when I put the game down about a month ago. Congrats 2k. You should really be ashamed at how bad this game is.
Also, Steve Nash gets 2k the dollars.Attached Files"The designated hitter rule is like letting someone else take Wilt Chamberlain's free throws."

I've definitely noticed a big drop off in the amount of CPU blocks post patch.Comment

Screens are definitely over-nerfed. I get illegal screen calls while standing still and holding O. This shouldn't happen. Some of the HOF Brick Wall animations include your player leaning into screens and using his torso to knock others down. This leaning/shoving now results in illegal screen calls. IT'S PART OF THE BADGE ANIMATIONS! The calls need to be toned downComment

I haven't played in a couple of days - too much going on. But now you have me scared to go back and play. There were 2 roster updates since. The first being the culprit. The patch was definitely helpful. By no means was it perfect, but the overall feel of gameplay was improved in some aspects. Then the next day the Steve Nash roster dropped and now the game is playing like it is now.
Mozgov just beat me (Rose) down the court because I decided to post up air and not actually sprint despite pressing turbo. Then I called for a pick and he hard hedged, slammed into me forcing me back, so I went the other way only to be met by the great Mozgov again. He forced Rose to pick up his dribble. Super fun. I shut it off. Game is bad. Horrible in fact.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Rosters Updated - Full Details Here
To be fair it wouldn't have been bad had there not been a day or so where defenders resembled human beings and player movement was tightened up slightly. It's really nothing out of the ordinary had you not experienced post-patch/pre-Steve Nash gameplay. Unfortunately I did and while I enjoyed it, I didn't truly appreciate it. Now it's just bleh.
Back to 2K16 again, as sad as that is.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Rosters Updated - Full Details Here
Definitely not. I should not be getting an illegal screen call when my player has STOPPED MOVING for a whole second or more, I'm holding O to screen, and my left thumb isn't even touching the left stick. That literally makes no sense. It means that the Brick Wall animations are actually causing the illegal screens to be called.Comment

Nah. I definitely think it should be raised. I've seen a lot of moving screens and screens that's not even fully set not being called constantly. I can play a whole ProAm game getting screened by 3 people in a row every possession mostly illegally and it'll be called twice if I am lucky. Hope 2K turns it up before 2K17 is over.

Re: NBA 2K17 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Rosters Updated - Full Details Here
Well obviously it's something that won't be fixed in 2k17 cause it seems like 2k doesn't differentiate between upper and lower body movement on screens. Even if feet are set, the brick wall animations will allow the screener to lean their upper body around at angles, causing heavy screens. Some of these are triggering illegal screen calls, even when the screener isn't moving. And that's just not OK.Nah. I definitely think it should be raised. Most likely won't but I haven't ran across anyone having issues getting called w/ moving screens constantly.
