Quite a shocking news in Jacksonville but the Jaguars confirmed today that SS
Jonathan Cyprien was cut from the roster. Cyprien was Jaguars 2nd round selection (33rd overall) in the 2013 NFL draft. Cyprien started all games last season posting 82 tackles (47 assists) and 1 interception.
Some rumors related that Cyprien regressed in his coverage skills and was not showing any progress when the team in the meantime signed former Ravens
Terrence Brooks and drafted two safeties in the last draft. It has been said that 2nd year player
Clayton Fejedelem who spent the whole 2016 in the practice squad outplayed Cyprien so far in camps.
