What does Offensive Consistency attribute do in my career. Is it worth the grind??

No one knows. Probably nothing. One of the devs even said that some stats are only for the CPU (when you don't control your player or if you sim a game).

I am not sure but I just think it keeps me from getting cold. Like my offensive consistency is low and when I go to the bench even if I was hot and then come off I sometimes have a blue ring around my guy.

It makes JR smith play like JR smith. The moment I get him hot and I don't green on a wide-open shot, it's a brick.

So it has nothing to do with hot and cold streaks. I kinda figured.

How are you even supposed to max this in MyCareer?

1. it's only available in team practice
2. team practice only comes up every few weeks
3. the dribble training is only available every other team practice
4. not every time the dribble training is available you get the +1

Same for Shot IQ etc.

What you listed is the only way you can get it from what I know. It's the same way to get your FT rating. Just the FT drill is always there and 9/10 you'll get the +1. There was a glitch where you could keep closing the app and coming back to max it out. I didn't do it though and it's patched now I believe.

Well mine is up to 45 now on my latest guy

I figure it's more for when you sim, and how close your guy hits his averages

Well FT is pretty easy to max but other stuff like Offensive Consistency will take forever...

I don't know about MyPlayer but generally off consistency means that the players play at their ratings. A player with low off consistency but great 4 pt ratings might be bricking the whole time in a game even wide open

There was a glitch when the game was released that has been patched where you could max it easily in a few minutes.

Offensive consistency determines how consistent of a scorer/shooter you are. Simple.

For example, if you have a 90 3pt rating but only 40 offensive consistency...don't expect to knock down the 3 at a very consistent rate.

A shooter with a 80 3pt rating and 90 offensive consistency will shoot much better than the example above. So it pretty much determines how often your shots fall.

Absolutely, offensive consistency is how consistently you can score over the course of the game.
