Game updates have become the norm as opposed to the exception in the gaming world, and the WWE 2K series is no exception. With two major gameplay updates within a week of each other, the game we gave a 7 to, mainly due to the abundance of glitches, has seen the worst of the bunch alleviated. But what changed? Let's dive in to the most important fixes:

Really considering trading in NBA 2K17 for this now that they've addressed so many of the bugs. Thoughts?

In the creation modes it's still far inferior to last year.

The patches seemingly making it worse.

Simple things we could do last year we now can't do.

Latest is giving Macho Man tassels on his boots and a jacket at the same time. Why remove that ability In The patch?

Last years is still a better game all round.

Create modes are such a massive part of this series for some many.

Sounds good to me.
But I can't believe that there is still no patch for the Xbox One Version of the game.
Really frustrating!

It'll come. I think that has more to do with Microsoft and it's policy, as opposed to 2k just not releasing a patch for the Xbox One side. At least thats the excuse they used in the past.

Totally disagree with this wholeheartedly. This game far surpasses any of he other wrestling games. The gameplay, the a.i. and the creation suite has been God send. I started to get back into creation because of wwe 2k17. I retired from it because it lacked a lot and now I am back helping the community with beautiful caws. The game plays better than any other wrestling game I've ever played. This is coming from a fire pro and no mercy player.

Yeah, they do this with Nba 2k17 as well. Very sad and irritating. But the wwe games tend to send patches faster than the nba side.

I have to disagree.

Change the participants in a MitB match? No longer a MitB match. Seems like we get this bug every year.

The match starts with a cutscene? Fifty percent chance the ref is now in a coma. Still.

Still have to be careful changing matches, as I still occasionally get the extra match bug.

Got a feud going and one of the participants is doing a promo? Sorry you cannot watch the AI because if you do the rival doesn't come out, it plays out as a generic promotion promo, though the news feed says otherwise.

Post-match replays still not working as they should be.

On Xbox One you see only the move leading to a successful pinfall attempt (3Count). So we get to see four unsuccesful pinfall attempts (with no move) and one successful pinfall attempt (with finishing move) in the post match replays.
