    Trick Plays or Unique Plays

Are there any new trick or unique plays this year worth adding to a custom playbook? I have the HB pass, the pass to the Left Tackle (Patriots playbook), a WR sweep. Is there any where the WR passes or the QB lines up as a receiver, etc? I love adding wrinkles to my playbook

The Wildcat still a good option. Especially with fast HB. Try this on red-zone, works very well!

Where are all the regular trick plays at? All I can find are the special teams ones..

They are mixed throughout the various playbooks.

I just wanted to see if Madden added any new ones this year. Really would like it if there was a WR pass play or other unique gadget plays. I like to always have one of those in my back pocket.

What playbyplay did you find the Wr sweep? I've been using the Dallas playback because of the wildcat plays but I want to switch it up. Thanks

WR Quick out of Single Back Ace actually works well, esp. if you have a good run blocking TE2 and a WR with really good ACC. The PA pass off of this play is also good.

HB pass is out of the I Normal. I haven't labbed that play yet.

There's a jet sweep out of a 5 wide trips left set that also has the look of a "good" trick play. You can kind of tell by the play art once you've run some of these plays a few times.

If you're playing against human opponents, don't underestimate the simple "trick" of using play action. Especially if it's someone who plays as a safety or linebacker.

really? defending the wildcat is not hard at all. not sure i've given up a yard in years against it. when i see the HB lined up behind C, i pretty much know i'm knocking them back a few yards.

the right PA plays against the CPU can be consistently devastating. i have four PA plays that will get me a first down 9 out of ten times.

DeMarco Murray consistently makes big runs out of the wildcat for me.

I used this for the first time last night in my online CFM, the guy was usering the MLB and I had the whole middle of the field open after he bit on the fake.

glad you're finding success with it. whether i play against the CPU or a person, i find it pathetically easy to stop.

That sounds like an exploitation of the AI. PA shouldn't be causing a big reaction on third down and long. Maybe if it's 3rd and 2 or something (one of the sim leagues I played in outlawed play action on third down and greater than 4 (I think it was 4...) for this very reason).

But since this is a trick play thread, by PA I meant more PA+down the field passing.
