But I am not nearly as frustrated as many here seem to be. But that's just me. Am I going to run out and buy Madden 18? Probably not. I expected a bigger jump from 16 to 17. But we did not get that IMO as far as the offline experience. I am generally coming to the end of the every year purchase on all sports games this generation. NBA 2K17 is good for me until when/if I ever go to a new console NHL 16 Madden 17 The only every year purchase I make moving forward is MLB The Show and that is solely because of the franchise Y2Y saves. Otherwise I would stick with 16 as well. There is just not enough "wow" improvement anymore. Simple as that. But.......make no mistake. The current development team at Tiburon are supporting this game and I think have shown plenty of commitment to keep trying to improve and fix things. I can't ever complain about that. I think it is a slippery slope patching games and unfortunately fixing one thing breaks another thing and they have to decide what fix is more important overall for the fan base. It sucks, but it is reality. But I am in the minority that feels the game plays far tighter and is far more stable post patch.

Right there with you on the every year purchase thing. I tried playing Madden last night in my current CFM, but just couldn't get myself pulled back into it like I was. Getting back to the every year purchases.....I just told my son Monday night that I would be good with 2K17 for another year probably 2. I play My GM and with the expansion team possibilities along with rule changes that are possible at the end of each season.......it can keep this mode fresh for a long long time. I love Madden always have, but have been a little disappointed this year.
