Times Played? OFM Schedule

I noticed in the offline franchise mode in the team schedule there is a column Times Played. I noticed that if you play a game and quit it seems to keep track of how many times you play that game. Are there any negative impacts from do that? Does anyone know anymore about this?

I think that's there to alert commissioners of online leagues when a player is quitting and restarting their games just to win. I've never understood the point or fun in people doing that, though.

Although if you have to leave a game halfway through. Load that game back up it counts as "2 starts" even though its only 1 game.

But this only applies to offline, which has no impact on this "stat".
