Man, that's going to be a tough decision for the committee. Oklahoma is in as the only undefeated left, but then it's interesting. Does Washington jump Clemson for beating the No. 1 team? Does UCLA fall out to Top 4 with their one loss (which was close) coming so late? That one really depends on how dominant they've been this season as a whole. Does Tennessee stay in the Top 4 without a conference championship or an extra week to impress?

I'm excited to see who makes the Final Four.

As you can see... it happened and has given me a massive headache

About as frustrating as hitting your head! Everytime you think you have him wrapped up he breaks loose.

I have to think like the real life playoff committe do now, as we have discussed.. Oklahoma is the only dead cert and the #1 team going into the selection but after that its all open to consideration.

        AWARDS CEREMONY

OHIO STATE'S CURTIS SAMUEL TAKES HOME THE HEISMAN
Samuel becomes the first Buckeye since 2006 to win the awrd

        Hand it to Curtis Samuel.

Ohio State's multi skilled player who has been doing it all for the Buckeyes offense in 2016 has won the 82nd Heisman trophy. In a junior campaign in which he rushed for 1,467 yards and 12 touchdowns, he also had 38 receptions for 521 yards and a four touchdowns.

"I'm just so thankful to everyone who has helped me this season," Samuel said. "It's been a blessing and an honour to be here with so many legends and two other guys here all deserving of the award."

Whilst his numbers were not outstanding by any means compared to the likes of Luke Falk of Washington State or even Joe Mixon of Oklahoma it was his diversity to make the switch from wide receiver to running back and still have a breakout season for the Buckeyes.

Hurd finished with 1,832 points in the voting, followed by QB Luke Falk of Washington State (1,539) and HB Joe Mixon of Oklahoma (1,165) finished third. Samuel won four of the six voting regions, with Falk winning the other two.

As noted, Washing State's Luke Falk went into the evening as the considered favourite after passing for 52 touchdowns this season, but the junior quarterback cleaned up winning the Maxwell, Walter Camp and O'Brien but I am sure that won't make up for him missing out on the Heisman.

"I didn't know at all," Samuel said. "I came here tonight expecting to be watching one of these two other guys who were great contenders for the trophy walk away with it. Luke, with how consistent he has been this season at the quarterback position and I was even more worried about the fact Joe is playing for an unbeaten team heading into the playoffs. It's unbelievable, and surprising to me that I won this award but i'm truly thankful and blessed."

Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr, who some thought should have been among the finalists sent to New York , finished fourth with 330 points. UCLA running back SoSo Jamabo who had an up and down season still finished fifth with 176 points.

Samuel now makes it two winners in a row to win the award from the running back position after Derrick Henry took home the award last season, he is also the first Buckeye to win the award since Troy Smith did back in 2006.

"I know that our entire organisation is really happy, happy, happy for Curtis Samuel tonight, winning the Heisman Trophy," Ohio State head coach Urben Meyer said.

As far as Kentucky goes linebacker Courtney Love was a finalist for the Bednarik award which was won by Georgia State's Chandon Sullivan, he also made the top five contenders for the Dick Butkus award. What came as a surprise was the fact Stanley Williams, the SEC's leading rusher wasn't considered for any award.

Ironically the season will end for both Kentucky and Southern Miss how it started, although the Golden Eagles will be hoping for a better end result than they had last time out against Kentucky.

Back in week one when these two teams first met this season the Wildcats handed the Eagles their one and only loss of the season in a game where Kentucky put up 637 yards of total offense on the Golden Eagles defense. At the time Kentucky's triple header at the running back position in Stanley Williams (Who leads the SEC in rushing in 2016), JoJo Kemp and Mikel Horton (who has been sparingly used this season) combined for 320 yards rushing.

Southern Miss quarterback Nick Mullens was sacked five times by the Kentucky defense in a game where the Wildcats walked out 48-18 winners over the Golden Eagles.

Hey man, this is one of the cleanest franchises I've seen on here. Well done!
Thank you for providing an awesome read.
Question: Are you doing CPU vs CPU for the games that you have screenshots from, i.e.: all of the conference championships?

                Keep it up!

Thank you for the kind words and taking the time to read up on this. All games such as the conference championships, playoffs and new year six bowls are simmed cpuvscpu, its a long process but the fairest way in my mind to create realism within this report as much as possible.

Question...might've been addressed, but how are you managing the college football playoffs in NCAA 14? I mean, this was the last year of the BCS, so I'm just curious how the semifinals and finals are being handled. Handled I mean by within the video game.

BTW, excellent dynasty you have here, very clean and well done.

                      #2 WASHINGTON HUSKIES (12-1, 9-1)

CHRIS PETERSON LIFTS THE FIESTA BOWL TROPHY, SIGNALLING WASHINGTON ADVANCE

                      NAIL BITING STUFF
Washington booked their place in the National Championship in a dramatic fashion.

Miami Gardens, FL – With one snap, one throw and zero seconds left on the clock that is how Washington won this football game. The Huskies booked their place in the Championship game with a Jake Browning to Dante Pettis walk off touchdown.

A few weeks ago the Huskie's were just outside the playoff picture but a win over the No. 1 team in the country in UCLA at the time in the Pac-12 Championship game meant the Huskies slipped into the playoffs, but that means nothing now and Washington are Championship bound.

"No one gave us a shot to get here," Browning said after the game. "Dam they didn't even give us a shot to make it to the playoffs this season, but we knew, we knew that if we were as good on the field as we were in camp then wed have good season."

The Huskie's defense was able to keep one of the nations best players in Clemson's DeShaun Watson to just one passing touchdown whilst picking off the quarterback twice and stripping the ball from him on a strip sack also, the Huskies also held the Tigers to under a 100 yards overall rushing something no one else has done this season.

Jake Browning was near perfect for the Huskies as he led the final possession that led to the walk off touchdown, when he hit Dante Pettis in the corner of the endzone the sophomore quarterback was 5-of-6 for 68 yards; In the game Browning went 34-from-51 for 406 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Gaskin and Dotson shared carries as they have done this season and it was Dotson who found the endzone rushing the ball, along with Lavon Coleman.

With the 34-27 win over Clemson it will mean the Huskies will get the chance to potentially win their first National Title since 1991.

Congrats on the bowl win to end the season, and the graphics are amazing as always. Some great match-ups in the New Year's Six and already an amazing game in the first semifinal. I think Oklahoma will take the other one and beat Washington in the National Championship to boot. Looking forward to seeing how the end of the season plays out.

                          #1 OKLAHOMA SOONERS (12-0, 9-0)

TENNESSEE BOOK THEIR PLACE IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

                          A SPECIAL NIGHT
Joshua Dobbs is the star pupil as he helps Tennessee to the National Championship game.

Atlanta, GA – You couldn't have predicted how the two college football playoff semi-finals were going to end, we had a walk off touchdown in the Washington-Clemson game and then we watched Tennessee book their place in the National Championship game with a last second Aaron Medley field goal.

Tennessee didn't win the SEC but booked their place in the playoffs with wins over teams like Alabama, the fact they had one loss to Florida's two and the little fact that UCLA played out the majority of there schedule in close games, they can also thank their National Championship opponents Washington for their berth also, however that's neither here nor there as the Volunteers took their chance and beat the No.1 team in the nation Oklahoma.

Baker Mayfield was tormented by Tennessee pair Danny O'Brien and Corey Vereen who combined for seven sacks on the junior quarterback who after the game told the press he expects to be back with Oklahoma next season.

The ironic thing about this win was the fact that Aaron Medley had missed a kicked ten yards closer than his 48-yard game winner on the Volunteers previous possession.

"Ecstatic," Tennessee head coach Butch Jones said after the game. "These boys have worked hard all season and deserve this moment to rejoice in what has just happened, but then its back to hard work as we look towards Washington and the title game."

Joshua Dobbs himself was sacked five times, as neither offensive line could hold their heads high in this game but the quarterback did pass for 269 yards, rush for 52 yards and a touchdown in the win as he helped the Volunteers to a one point win over the heavily favoured Sooners.

With the 27-26 win it will mean that Butch Jones and the Volunteers will progress into the National Championship game where they will face #2 Washington, it also means the Volunteers will get the chance to win the title something that hasn't happened since 1998.

To finish the season 7-6 and with a bowl win over Southern Miss means I finish this season happy, even more so after we had a three game losing skid through the middle part of the season.

In regards to the Oklahoma game, it couldn't have been any closer... Now Tennessee gets to potentially hand the team who won them their birth a loss in the title game.. How things can pan out hey!

Tampa Bay, FL -- For all that Washington had accomplished this season on their way to the National Championship game, including a Pac-12 title, wins over UCLA, Oregon and USC and then what some viewed as an upset win over Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl, the CFP National Championship game proved one step to far for Chris Peterson's men as the Tennessee Volunteers were crowned National Champions with a 22-14 scoreline.

In the biggest game of the season, former four-star quarterback Joshua Dobbs was asked to lead the Volunteers to their third national title and first since 1998, the senior quarterback did just that despite being sacked six times by the Washington defense in the game, however that didn't seem to faze him at all.

"The kid has a lot of heart, and a massive set of guts," said head coach Butch Jones after the game. "He controlled that offense, put up the touchdown we needed to win the game, and installed a confidence throughout the team in order to get this game won"

Dobbs didn't struggle despite facing a potent defense like the Huskies have had this season, the senior passed for 176-yards and a single touchdown, he also led the team in carries with 22 carries for 95-yards; His single touchdown pass came in the second quarter when Preston Williams took in a short screen pass from Dobbs to turn the game in the Volunteers favour.

"It was the best game I have played all year," said Dobbs. "The stats were not as great as they have been in other game this season but with the ball in my hands it just felt natural today. I was confident we would win this game no matter what they put on us."

The Volunteers can also thank junior kicker Aaron Medley who kicked four of seven field goals against the Huskies today.

You can credit the Tennessee defense for this victory too, it isn't just Joshua Dobbs who did what he had to do. The Volunteers held the Huskies to 266-yards of total offense, they also kept the Huskies rushing attack of Myles Gaskin and Jomon Dotson out of the endzone.

Washington quarterback Jake Browning, whose walk off touchdown pass to Dante Pettis against the Tigers in the Fiesta Bowl was the reason the Huskies were in the Championship game was picked off twice by the Volunteers defense, but did pass for two touchdowns and 191 yards as he produced the majority of the Huskies offensive output.

"It felt storybook like again," Washington linebacker Psalm Wooching said after the game. "It felt like we were going to do it again but this time we were on the wrong end, they were just to strong in the end, maybe we underestimated just how good their offense was and how strong their defense ended up being, but well be back don't yall worry about that."

Another thrilling college football season has come to an end, a national champion has been crowned and the losing team will only look to next year to turn it in their favour. Teams will now turn to the off-season, whilst some will look to its recruiting class for changes next season others will make changes from the top down.
