New NHL 17 Roster Update Available (12-15)

Another NHL 17 roster update is available now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, updating the NHL, AHL, ECHL, WHL, OHL, QMJHL, NLA, DEL, LIIGA, SHL and EXTRALIGA.

You can check all of the changes here. We've listed some of the changes below.

Roster Update Download Instructions*:

• In the NHL 17 main menu, select (Customize)
• In the Customize section, select (Roster)
• In the Roster section, select (Active Rosters)
• In the Active Rosters section, select the most recent update organized by 'Date & Time' under EA SPORTS NHL Official Rosters

*NOTE: Your console must have an internet connection to download this roster update.

Wow did they finally add the missing AHL guys? I'm happy but it's pathetic that it takes this long.

Revamped rosters has new updates and better attributes settings then ea sports does. These are based off of ea sports overalls and attributes to begin with.

Not that many care but I don't understand why they lowered Derek Mackenzie's rating. Having a better start to the season than last season in a team that is playing very bad right now. EA musn't like age.

Just a heads up, Mark Arcobello, Raphael Diaz, Corey Potter, Dustin Jeffrey, and Maxim Noreau. Spaling, and probably others still have rights held by NHL teams despite playing in foreign leagues.

The problem with this is when you start franchise they end up on NHL rosters. To fix it, go to player movement, and transfer them to an AHL team, select "free agent" for their rights, and then transfer them back to their Euro club.

Hey guys brand new ps4 owner finally and new to nhl 17..I'm sorry for being such a newbie but can someone please help?? I installed the newest Dec 15th roster update..it's checked..but the new players added are not there..I had ea sports call me..first person couldn't help and then they sent me to technical support and sat on hold for 40mins before I gave up..how can I play with the new roster??

You have to go to the "Active Roster" page and then go to the left side of the screen. Click on the December 15th roster and wait until you see a green check pop up next to it, this means it is now your active roster and usually takes like 15 seconds or so to load it
