Really appreciate all of this work you/you all are doing.

One piece of advice would be to consider writing whether or not your stats are statistically significant. For example, I believe that left hand versus right hand experiment you all conducted would indicate that those results are not significant enough to prove that there's a difference (meaning those differences are likely due to pure chance rather than game logic). Might be helpful.

We agree that there wasn't a significant difference in th re results. Certainly not one big enough to draw any kind of conclusion. We like to just post our results and let people draw their own conclusions from them.

What about shooting from certain sides of the court. Maybe left handers shoot better on the left side and vice Versa

That's an interesting thought. We will look into that to improve our left vs right data.

            Thanks for your work!

I do the same sort of work, but with more focus on sim stats. It's really disappointing to hear about the Open 3 Point rating in gameplay based on your results. Most *great* shooters only shoot close to 50% on their open threes, so they should be rated between 65 and 70 in order to see more realistic results? This is exactly why design should curb knee-jerk reactions to what a vocal minority says about shooting being too easy or too hard and just trust the stats. What shooting form were you using for that test? In a neutral zone? Was the Real Player % setting on or off?
