I have no clue. If they could, I highly doubt they'd make a profit so they wouldn't do it.

I'm guessing no because it probably would have been done already huh.

I'm getting that itch to play this game again but I don't have an older console anymore nor do I want to purchase one just for NCAA.

Well, hopes shattered, I guess I'll keep an eye out on garage sales/online.

I could careless about a remaster, would be nice of course. But I would be happy with just making it backwards compatible.

I have said for awhile now. Just make a game that generates new rosters every time you start the game, unless you save them in dynasty mode. And I don't mean generate names, but change all player likenesses each time. So there would be no way for anyone in college to say that their likeness is being used.

I was going back and forth with someone on twitter about this a few days ago.

I don't think legally they can make it backwards compatible. They would have done it by now if they could, imo.

Agreed. We'd all love something, anything, that NCAA could do to output some form of a game. Alas, it seems as if they really won't be able to. Remastering is somewhat of an intriguing idea, as they would be using likenesses from the past players, but I assume there something wrong with that now too
