    Created player (lefty qb)

Question ? normally when I start a dynasty I'll create a qb no matter if the position is full with high recruits qb or veteran qb . (If roster full I may edit.) My question I've created a lefty qb and wonder do you guys think left qbs are a little hard to handle In the game compared to a right handed qb like throwing Curls ,Curl flats . If y'all have lefties qb do you struggle with him . I've been use of right handed qbs , just wanted to do something different. When I think of lefties I think of Young & Vick . Just curious if you guys see many lefties CPU in the game also .

I struggled at first. I flip every play now to the strong side for the lefty QB. It's a pretty nice change up in dynasty.

The only lefty quarterback I've seen in game was the dude from Wisconsin (I can't remember his name) but that's a real dude that the guys who made the roster I'm using edited in. I don't think I've ever seen a CPU generated lefty QB. There's certainly never been one on my team at any point

Looking at the data from the 11 seasons of recruiting classes I created, there were 117 left handed QB's out of the 1,750 QB's generated (6.69% lefties), or a little over 10/year. Of the lefties, the highest star rating was 4, with 9 created over the 11 seasons.

If you look at athletes that the system thinks should be QB's, there were 10 lefties out of 106 QB's (9.52% lefties). Of the left handed QB athletes, 4 had 5 star ratings.

I've had 2 lefties on my team (my current #2 guy is a lefty) and I've faced a handful of them on other teams.

I did a RTG with a lefty, and I hated it early on because sometimes the play call would have me rolling to the right on a pass play. I couldn't audible or flip the play, and I'd be lucky if I could hit the check-down route throwing across my body awkwardly.

Ya that's the guy. I couldn't remember his name. Now that I think about it I have had one lefty QB on my team, Shane Morris. But again he doesn't really count because he's not computer generated

In case I wasn't clear, all the lefties I've seen were generated recruits.

Oh the younger generation... Young was a great QB but Vick was crap, as far as throwing the ball. Sure, he could run, but do you really want your QB running for 1000 yards?

The greatest lefty to ever play QB was Kenny 'Snake' Stabler. He was Joe Montana before Montana entered the league. He was so clutch and brought the Raiders back from seemingly impossible deficits to win games they had no right winning.

For example... 1976, opening week of the season... playing host to the Steelers, two time defending Super Bowl champs and with just over 5 minutes left Pittsburgh had a 28-14 lead and was at Oakland's 20 yard line.

But then, Skip Thomas forced Franco to fumble, the Raiders recovered and Snake took them on a long TD drive, throwing a TD pass to Dave Casper. Now 21-28, the Raiders held the Steelers to a 3 and out and partially blocked the punt. On 4th and 10 and with Mean Joe Green bearing down on him for a game ending sack, Snake ducked under Green, threw a strike to Cliff Branch who then ran down to the Steeler 2 yard line. Next play, Snake ran it in.

Now 28-28, the Steelers didn't want OT so Bradshaw came out throwing but got picked. A few plays later, as time expired, they kicked the game winning FG for a 31-28 win, with 17 of those points coming in the final 2:56.

In 1979, at New Orleans on a Monday Night, down 14-35, Snake led a massive comeback, throwing 3 TD's in the 4th quarter and the Raiders won 42-35.

In 1980, as an Oiler, playing at the Jets, down 0-21 in the 4th quarter, he became the first QB in NFL history to throw 4 TD passes in the 4th quarter, eventually tying the Jets at 28-28. In OT the Jets won the toss, drove down and kicked a FG to win it, but still... 4 4th quarter TD passes in a game that many thought was all but over.

I so wish younger people would learn the history of the game. Snake played in an era when QB's called their own plays and he was part of the most memorable games in NFL history...

The Immaculate Reception, The Sea Of Hands, The Ghost To The Post and The Holy Roller. No other QB could match him.
