Pro Am : Elite Teams Cant Find Opponent

This is happening since the patch 10, waiting for an hour but still no opponent. This happens on both consoles as there is a similar thread to this on other forum. Apparently Pro Tier teams also having this Matchmaking Issue

I think it's happening for all teams in pro-am, because my team is only pro.... and we've had same problem since the patch

A couple of days ago, I also posted about it in the pro-am thread.


Since patch 1.10, we (elite team) cannot find an opponent.

Something in patch 10 seems to have caused this problem.

Since downloading that patch, my team has had to end our Pro Am sessions early every night because the matchmaking just stops working and gets stuck on the "searching for opponent" phase.

This has definitely happened to our team too which is Pro. It's weird because we've exited back to our courts and joined back in continually trying to get it to work and nothing.

It's pretty ridiculous that at this point in the game, there's no real way to ensure you're going to get to a game. Even without this issue, you still have random times where you're stuck with only one person having searching and having to hope it pops up to drag everyone in. Then you have Walk On where you legitimately have to have all the players walk to the door of the MyPlayer just to even have a true shot at trying to ensure everyone gets in. Last year had it's issues when the game started but once it was fixed, Pro-Am games were so much simpler to get into.

It's kinda always been like this, but it's been worse than usual.

Managed to get 2 games in today during about a 3 hour session, but 1 of them kicked 6 people out of the game in the 1st quarter.

Our team is gathering right now about to play some. Looking forward to the feces show -_-

First attempt, it said Opponent found and then that message disappeared. Waited 3 minutes and now we're backing out.

Got into a game, and then trying for the second game didn't work out. All had to back out.

That's my point, we've had that issue since launch where only one person sees it. We're 10 patches in and it's still not fixed. Last year by this time, Pro-Am was fixed and while it didn't always work perfectly, it found matches a lot easier than this one has. I feel between a lot of the gameplay issues that haven't been shored up and every mode of online being broken in some form or not being able to handle a server overload, the thought process is "this game can't be saved but we'll do better 2K18." If you can't fix most of your major issues after 10 patches, I'm not sure what to say.

I don't like typically being that negative to 2K like the attitude can be around here but we paid good money for the game, we deserve a functioning game where we don't have to try and find workarounds just to get something to work. Of course very rare the time they actually give us anything for their issues as a make good, instead like people have posted, they end up chastising us saying it's on our end when it's clearly not. I guess we should have known better when the first thing that happens when we open the store on MyCareer is it goes straight to buy VC over anything else.
