It's good to be positive, but I literally have heard this same phrase in some amount of words for four years lol. I'll just wait to see what they have. This is getting closer to what the final product will be. They literally have another month or so at the latest until gold.

Things are looking decent, but don't kid yourself. This is what you are getting minus a few things they will show us in the previews.

Hey, they've cracked the lighting code once before during crunch time and by god I have faith that they can crack it again.

If this is a style guide issue then there's a bigger problem than we think. I just hope this stuff is taken into consideration sooner rather than later.

Besides this, I loved the video and all the improvements. Can't wait for Thursday!

I made a post about the red being off in 2014 when the game first went to ps4, and it still hasn't been improved, probably not enough people said anything about it.

Anyone feel like the Red Sox red is too burgundy?

Seems like every red looks kind of burgundy to me, is it just me?

This is what the Red Sox hex colors are, which is far as I'm concerned is what they have to abide by for marketing and stuff like that. Doesn't look like it's a style guide issue, more of just not putting the right shade in-game.

The Reds shade seems too dark but still red. The Red Sox color reminds me of the brick color used by the Astros before their move to the AL.

Never understood why, if things like this that show the exact numbers and codes to the exact shade of the color exist, why the game always has certain shades off. Feels like they put in a guess on the shade one day and just never go back to verify the accuracy of the colors.

Colors don't mean anything if the light refraction is off. I'm sure the black they use for the Pirates alternate jersey is programmed in as black, but something is apparently reflecting a gray sheen from it causing it to be washed out in appearance.

If that was the case then every black jersey would have the same issue but they don't.

No sorry I'm so sick of this answer. If the Marlins white Sox and rockies black jerseys can look fine in the game then so can the Pirates black jerseys. Seems pretty clear to me that someone programmed the Pirates jerseys to be a lighter shade of black than the other teams black jerseys.

Absolutely. I cringe at the thought of Mariners fans having to use that hideously dark green Mariners alternate that should be a bright teal and for Brewers fans with that sky blue Friday throwback jersey and Padres fans with those olive green brown jerseys.

Finally getting a chance to sit down and watch the stream.

Really loving the new catch/throw animations. Everything looks so much more fluid.

Those animations are pretty good, I just hope there is commentary tied to the animations as far as fundamentals. I think there is always a missed opportunity in all sports games to not have some commentary about how and why that animation was necessary. They added a lot of animations, there should be talk about type of throws and catches and why this particular player can make that type of play and if the player is out of position talk about why he can't make that type of play.
