You're talking about one animation but you're proposing to take a global modifier and jack it up to an insanely high value. It's like proposing to fix a wristwatch with a sledgehammer..
Instead, try adjusting a slider that only addresses that one issue. Example: people have reported success lowering CFM defensive holding to low values (like 5). That is probably too extreme as we've seen how much of a difference 1 point can make in some instances.
I will say this, there is definitely something about press coverage that is a bit
off in general. I actually started backing-off my coverage in some instances (like 3rd and long) and the coverage (and CPU QB play) looks so much more fluid. That doesn't address how the CPU plays against you though, but it could point to a possible adjustment (like dropping CFM Def Hold to 49).
