"The team is currently analyzing the hit types the new ball physics has produced to make sure the results are realistic. The developer at San Diego Studio performs overnight tests where the game can relatively quickly play thousands of games over an eight-hour period to produce the number of singles, home runs, etc. the team can then compare against real-life data. So far, even with all the new hit types, the results are realistic says Russell."

Part of the reason this is my favorite sports game franchise. They care about the community. Even with no competition, they are still grinding as hard as they do. Very respectable.Comment

March 28th can't get here fast enough. All of that stuff sounds awesome. I hope they added the ability for home and away equipment for players but other than that I'm happy.

Can we point out once again for anyone that missed it... the two comparison shots of Scherzer and Rizzo those are NOT new face scans they are the same face scans that were in The Show 16. Pointing this out because I think it's important so that people realize the improvements. One can easily say "well of course it looks good those are updated face scans." But that isn't the case here.Comment

Are you being sarcastic? He does have 2 different color eyes. That's where his straight filthy pitches come from.Comment

This article has impressed me so much. The generic faces on have been severely lagging behind in the series and it sounds like they got a lot of attention! This makes the draft classes and CAPs look much more appealing.
Does anybody know why they removed the ability to see player cards outside of DD years ago? I'm talking about seeing them in franchise, main roster screen, etc. I loved seeing those things and since they are already in the game I wish we could see them.Comment
