22 new facial hair sets is awesome along with new hair styles.


I'm curious as to what is going to happen with our carryover saves or those of us creating rosters with the 17 old faces being replaced what will happen. Do we have to re-do all the faces from scratch or will the old faces still carry over and we just have to make minor adjustments? Hoping to get some clarity on that.

Otherwise loving everything so far.

Maybe. But it is definitely good to see the new face/hairstyle improvements even if it does take the roster creators longer than usual to re-create faces.

Really bummed to hear Pro info coming soon. I am really not ready to upgrade to a new TV and system. Gonna bother me knowing I'll be playing a lesser version of the game possibly.

I wouldn't worry about it. You wont miss much outside of upscaled 4k and a more consistent 60 fps for single player.

You are forgetting one very important thing HDR

When people realize that HDR on their TV creates more input lag, they'll want to turn it off.

On my TV, 4K HDR has 50ms of input lag. 4K without HDR has 17ms.

I'm not upgrading my TV to 4k. So, probably want be upgrading to pro. Unless their is a drastic change for 1080p.

One assumes if all faces look this good then the Show will finally be on par with other sports games now, face-wise.

Those are definitely things I wanted to see. FINALLY. The bodies and faces and grass are getting upgrades that matter. 17 will be awesome, but this makes it seem like 18 is just going to be glorious with another year on only the PS4 and Pro. Geezuz.

If they offer supersampling, like they should in some form or much better AA and effects, then the image quality alone will be worth it.

Besides 4k and possibly 60fps, I really doubt there will be much pro enhancements in the next 2-3 years.

I mean they can do whatever they want on Pro as long as they have the bandwidth. You could possibly see enhanced shadows, filtering, lighting, reflections, SSAO, et cetera. It just depends on what they are doing this year.

I am getting so excited for the new additions/refinements for this year. More time spent working on the PS4 and zero allocation of resources towards the PS3 version. Should make for the best gaming experience to date.

Well then you have the wrong TV. WIth my brand new Samsung I can turn on 4k, HDR and all of the other bells and whistles and dont even have to use game mode anymore.
