Ok so maybe it wasn't as bad as it sounded. I have been playing ootb and get many weather games. I may give this patch a 'go' with the fixes put in.
Thanks.Comment

Nice! Is the gameplay loser and/or more dynamic post patch default vs prepatch? Meaning tackle animations and player movement are not as tight and scripted? Variety of tackle animations, body weight and balance is noticeable, etc? Can't wait to try this out tonight.Comment

There is knowing something is wrong, and there is knowing how to fix it. The RAC drops was a good issue for this. They knew about it for a long time but their fixes didn't appear to solve the issue. Sometimes when dealing with code a fix can lead to other issues, or a fix can not actually fix the issue because you fix a symptom but not the real problem.Follow me on Twitter @T4VertsComment

Is there a difference between QB Acc ranges? Like 0 seems to be you can't hit anything on a reg basis. Is 25 balanced between misses and catches? I know 50 is the default...does 25-50 show an appreciable difference or is it just setting to 0 makes them miss?Comment

I'm very impressed with EA. They have done an outstanding job with Madden this year. The updates are great.

Well, that didn't take long.
Some of you might be familiar with the accuracy tests me and booker did in practice mode to prove the slider wasn't working as intended. When the patch finished downloading I charged right back into practice mode and set up the same test with the same players and settings.
0/5 with the slider at 0. I don't even need to do 25 of them when I see that. On this point at least, it's back to how it was out of the box.
I also messed around with it in the 0-50 range and it does look like the accuracy scales correctly around that.
Will test a few more things later, but right now I want to play a game (which is something I haven't said about this Madden in a couple months)!

I wasn't really paying attention to the small stuff, but I did notice Clay Matthews on the ground by Bradford and after the play was over, Bradford started jogging towards the running play and fell over Matthews in the process.
I just noticed the passing game became a bit harder on the user side.Comment

I normally am over 70% with Rodgers and during the last drive, I had to dink and dunk to get into FG ranage and ended up with 66%, and he was under 50% in the third quarter.
I saw two inaccurate throws with the CPU and that isn't including the throws out of bounds with Bradford. Bradford started 0 for 6 and ended with 63%.
The Vikings DL played like they do on Sundays. 4 sacks and just over 50 yds rushing allowed.
The mutcast has started.

Wow! glad to know about how shading really works, I'm betting that most of us though it was playing that way as well as setting up that way.· Made some zone coverage adjustments to improve an issue where C Routes were overpowered when run on the wide side of the field with a TE on the line of scrimmage.
Shade is just a position set pre play according to the devs and doesn't make them really play outside, more setup outside. The update was to fix zone coverage against the C not man, so you shouldn't see much difference the route is designed to beat man.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

That was the explanation I got in an interview with Rex on the global shading mechanic. I have another interview with him next week where I will get more clarification.Follow me on Twitter @T4VertsComment
