My League Best/Worst Teams to Rebuild

I am going to start an offline My League post trade deadline and was wondering what team in the Western Conference is in the worst situation? I know the Nets by far are in the worst rebuild situation in the league due to no draft picks and lack of assets to trade, but I need a team in the West that is in the same boat. I was thinking Denver, Sacramento, or Phoenix, but they all have some pieces to be able to rebuild rather quickly. Which team would you choose of these to have the most fun rebuilding process??

I'am year two of my sixers rebuild. It's pretty damn fun but kind of an easy rebuild. Loving the team though.

Orlando, esp. if you incorporate the Ibaka trade which was awful.

I'm doing the T-Wolves. Expected them like the Bucks to be fairing much better. Also what about the Lakers?

All though it's an easy rebuild, I am having a lot of fun with the 76'ers right now. Unfortunately Embiid asked for a trade, but Noel is still a decent big man for Simmons to run pick n' rolls and fast breaks with.

I want to start one with the Lakers afterwards. They have a lot of young talent and a good amount of trade assets. You already have 7 young prospects potentially remaining as your main rotation throughout, so it might be an even easier rebuild though. Only hurdle is that neither Russell or Ingram develops in to legitimate superstars, and it's not really fun playing as the Lakers if you don't have a megastar. So my plan is to bring in a future superstar - maybe even via the draft - in exchange for either one or maybe even both of them.

The Nuggets is similar to the Lakers and the 76'ers; the future is set with Mudiay and Jokic and you basically just have to develop them and build a supporting cast they can carry to a championship five seasons or so down the line.

The Magic should be a decent challenge on the other hand. Payton is not really a point guard to build a franchise around. Gordon is good, but needs a lot of polishing, and even then not a franchise player. That's a situation where you almost have to re-do the franchise. If you can sign a high level score/playmaker though, Aaron Gordon could be really fun playing second fiddle ala CP3/Griffin.

The Mavs is a tough nut too. Dirk is way past his prime, and the closest thing you have to a franchise players is Harrison Barnes, who makes way too much money, and will never carry a team to a championship.

I always try and rebuild the Knicks. They're perhaps an even bigger mess this year, but they actually have some talent to build around now (all though they'll probably mess it up eventually IRL). You have some fun players to play with right away in Melo and Rose. They'll never get you a ring, but you can't really get anything for them so might as well enjoy scoring some buckets with them until Rose is gone after one season and Melo after two. Get rid of Noah and Lee if you can, too old and too expensive for a rebuild. After season two though, you can start building a team around your european front court in Willy and Kristaps.

If you really want a challenge then the Nets obviously. No draft picks, no trade assets and no talent except for maybe Lopez. Only problem is that this will take you so many seasons to complete, that you'd be looking at a roster of auto-generated players by the end, which I'm not a big fan of. If that doesn't bother you it should be really fun though.

The lakers are incredibly well built, you can pretty much pick em up and go on a three peat right away. The key is to start Calderon and play him heavy minutes.

I would say the Lakers or Mavs. More so Mavs. I've had my thoughts on rebuilding the Lakers because in every franchise I play, the CPU seems to never build them right. CPU Lakers do the worst trades/sub-par free agent signing from my experience.

I don't know if you can class as an rebuild but trying to keep the Spurs competitive after year 2-3 can be an bit challenging as most of the roster has older players and only have 1-2 guys that are young and are good. Granted you have Kawhi but i find it prettt challenging and fun to keep the run going esp whensradt picks are low end twentys it's fun for me but
