I've been testing some,have the running game almost pegged down & the passing is little more off. Tried like 10 plus games of the same teams. I actually took a break from doing it to play nba2k17 but I'll try again tomorrow. I am not 'hijacking' your post but you know what I hate? It's when the CPU stuffs the run all game but when around 3 minutes left in the game & they need to get the ball back(trailing).9 times out of 10 the offense will keep picking up the 1st down by running it. Like they program the Defense to play 4-3 zone to protect against pass. Have you notice this too? I never see anybody mention this here(OS)inside the Cpu vs Cpu crowd. PS:Tomorrow equals Sunday afternoon.Comment

In all the sliders I try out they never produce a Green Bay blowout over the Jaguars in Week 1 of CFM. So Here they are:

Alright Change QB accuracy to 5, run block 78,pass defense & coverage to 46,wr catching to 64. TEs still dominate somewhat,but Gronk was cover athlete so I would expect that's the reason. Speed I Use extra slow, and play on all Madden. You can search Gamertag Starsc4eam for Sliders & a Classic roster on these settings 1988 Cincinnati 23 1998 Jets 20... They both completed 66%-63% & Martin had about 75 yards on 17 carries the Bengal guy got around 50 but Most of these Teams on the file went to Super Bowl or Choke their way out of it (looking at you Oilers). Put thumbs down or whatever Haters gonna Hate. Been unpopular & popular at different schools and jobs so the thumbs down won't faze me. PS I prefer the unpopular way.Comment

If it's in the main menu, then I would suggest leaving the sliders at default. I would turn level down to rookie, very fast animation, 15 min quarters, playclock runoff to 15 seconds. Levels higher than rookie only guarantee additional scores. Be sure to leave controller icon between the teams.
Franchise mode is different. Your opponent uses the CPU sliders from the main menu while your team uses the CPU sliders in the franchise. No one slider set is better than another. You just have to decide if the slider set is good for your team. If your slider set gives your team +5 (shorthand) and your opponent's slider set gives +6, then your opponent will win. The default 50 is a good slider set for all teams. But two humans can match wits and adjust their slider sets to better fit their team.
A slider set that's good for your team against one opponent is not guaranteed to be good for your team against another opponent.
Sliders work in groups affecting equations more than ratings and regardless of your settings the program will do weird things to strive towards reasonable stats. The trick is to help the program. Don't try to shut down your opponent, try to maximize your points and minimize their points while both of you keep the clock running.
Finally, once you have your slider set go back to the main menu and restore the CPU slider set to the default. When you watch the game it will be eye opening. Stats generally fall into place. Slider sets include penalties and will determine injuries. If you're testing a set and see an injury to your player, adjust the set.Comment
