I really wish retro mode had all or MORE retro stadiums than the 4 we saw last gen! With everything these days going to currency....card packs across all sports games is what I'm mainly talking about I'd drop $20 in a heartbeat for a pack of lets say 3-4 classic stadiums! They would make a killing! Man let me see old County Stadium with the O.G Bernie Brewer slide in Center!
What else would be awesome would be if you could import edited rosters into retro mode! All the classic years roster sets out there.....we could literally have a true retro mode!

They can't add everything in one cycle, so credit to SDS for doing the 4 we're getting + SunTrust Park, and keeping Turner Field.


The one complaint that I could draw is (and they might've looked into it), and that for a game with Junior, I do feel Kingdome not being in the game this year is a missed opportunity. Especially considering Edgar Martinez as well as Junior are both in the game, the game is slathered in M's colors (MVP Ed.), and the two of them, their best years were in the Kingdome, not Safeco.

Cinergy Field would've also been an interesting add considering there's no doubt going to be a flashback Cincinnati Reds-version Junior.

Agreed with the post above, 100%. It seems odd that Kingdome would not be included with the other retro stadiums they've added, given that this is the Junior edition. Maybe next year, but it seems like this was the year to do it.

The retro stadiums that they put in this game were already models they had made from before. They didn't have to go and create them from scratch like they would have with the ones you guys are asking for.

Plus, they might not have the rights to the Kingdome or Riverfront, etc.

At this point, literally the only thing RBI Baseball has that The Show doesn't is throwback Montreal Expos jerseys for the Nats.

The Show adds that to the Nats... it's over for them.

And the whole, you know... other console and mobile devices. But who's counting?

Seriously though, if you're a PlayStation owner it's a pretty easy decision. I don't know if you can use this mode for season or franchise either though, much less online play.

It is simply a pick up and play exhibition game mode.

I'm guessing you missed the part in the gameplay and animation stream where they mentioned one of their programmers got Retro Mode working in only about a day of work?

Did you even watch the video or anything? They have mentioned a few times already that retro mode took hardly any time to implement whatsoever. I mean honestly, it's basically a new camera angle and some 8bit aesthetics and overlays.

I love this .. Being 51 I played all the old games and this will be awesome. Imo, this is a big bonus as it's something I wasn't expecting.
