And then one of the sexy woman from MLB Network for sideline and or Studio updates and then we will really have the beginnings of something really special maybe!
As long as the 3rd person isn't Kevin Millar I'm happy. His commentary is terrible and he makes both Rex Hudler & Steve Lyons seem intelligent lol

Their manager probably pulled them from the lineup because they are being traded to SCEA

If you truly know baseball and the way it plays out on the field, you know Harold Reynolds is one of the smartest baseball minds on television. The guy knows what he's talking about, absolutely love him. Not sure how people can't. I guess they just don't truly understand baseball. His baseball mechanic analyses etc are always spot on. Love listening to him on MLB Network, I'm really hoping it's him.

I agree about Reynolds. If he is the guy, then I'm even more excited now than before.

As long as we can still individually mute broadcasters, I'm fine with Reynolds.

Harold Reynolds is one of the dumbest live sports broadcasters out there. And yes, I "truly know baseball."

That said, with scripted lines, he would sound phenomenal in game (as he already has).

I think Al Leiter is one of, if not the best, color guy on tv today. I don't get to hear him much, because I use Yanks radio overlay on mlb.tv, but when I do hear him do a game, he is fantastic. Would be great for the show.
1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!

Agreed. Harold in the studio for MLB network is decent. Harold trying to do color commentary live is just head shaking. I remember him routinely saying stuff that seemed completely unrelated to the action on the field.

Maybe not as bad as Joe Morgan, who would say things related to what was happening on the field that were just flat out wrong. Like "he struck him out on a slider there and the hitter just couldn't pick up the spin", then they'd show the replay and it was clearly a 95 MPH fastball, and Joe would say "well, this pitcher's fastball behaves a lot like a slider sometimes, that is why the hitters are struggling so much tonight." Say what, Joe??

Joe Morgan is like Morgan Freeman in two ways:

                            1) Their name contains "Morgan."
                            2) Every time I read a quote of theirs over text, their voice instantly kicks in inside my head.

And brother, reading that instance made me cackle at how true that really is!

This is also my take on it. H.Ren doesn't ad lib well and somtimes it's almost like he never even played the game at a high level with some of the inaccurate stuff he spews. Saying Harold Reynolds is one of the most knowledgeable baseball broadcasters out there is sort of like saying Homer Simpson is one of the foremost nuclear power plant experts. Both will surprise you every now and then, but it's mostly godawful.

That said, I agree that Reynolds might be perfectly fine in the game while sticking to a decent script.

I wouldnt mind it if, come April 1, Ken Harrelson and Tim McCarver were announced as next years commentary team.
