Least fave no doubt the Vince Carter trade. Raptors management and ownership drives out the guy who singlehandedly popularized basketball in Canada and could've carried the team for years to come. Bosh-VC duo could've done damage (maybe contend with Shaq/Wade Heat and if acquired a 3rd man, compete with Boston's big 3?)

Fave is probably the Bargnani one. Not only did Raptors unload his contract, they got an unprotected 1st pick in it(which turned out to be a lottery pick). The first of many Ujiri robberies.

I despised the Shaq/Kobe duo. When Shaq got moved I was a happy camper. Plus I wanted to see Shaq get one without Kobe because all of the ludicrous Kobe fans who thought Kobe was the better player even while Shaq was completely dominating the playoffs ever year.

It was also fun to watch the Lakers miss the playoffs and finish behind the Clippers with a capable roster. The Grizz were even better than them that year and managed to land the 8th seed.

VC trade that made Toronto that pretty much made them irrelevant and the Deron Williams trade. I thought it was an early April Fool's prank until I seen that thread on here.

Least favorite trade: Trading Kidd to the Mavs, mainly because of how he went about it. I didn't blame him for wanting out but the whole fake migrane deal soured on me for awhile.

The 2007 NBA Draft trades by the Celtics were revolutionary imo.

Sort of started the whole 'Big 3' concept.

My least favorite is the Derrick Rose trade, just because it's so fresh. Also, any trade made during the Isiah Era. Eddy Curry in particular.

My favorite will be the Derrick Rose trade we complete sometime in the next 24 hours to get rid of him.

Trading a 1st rounder + Gary Forbes ("who??") for Lowry and then swapping Rudy Gay for Patterson + Vasquez were some of the most important trades in franchise history (besides grabbing Vince on draft night)

As for least favorite, I can't think of any off the top of my head

To think, Masai traded Bargnani,Gay,Ross and current result of that is Ibaka,Powell,Bebe,Patterson,Poeltl. Half their current roster for 2 salary dumps and a bench player

December 19, 1968. The Knicks send Howard Komives and Walt Bellamy to Detroit in exchange for Dave DeBusschere. This move put the Knicks over the top as DeBusschere was an all timer.

Gerald Wallace for the pick that became Damian Lillard
Obviously the trade that got the Spurs Kawhi Leonard.
This last one isnt a trade but in the 2013 Draft the Spurs were one pick to late to nab Rudy Gobert, imagine what the Spurs would be like now

The Alonzo Mourning/Glen Rice trade...even though it turned out pretty good, the HorBobNets never had a player as good as Zo again.

February 19, 2004 - Expected nothing to happen. Ventured off to library between classes to check out rumors on InsideHoops. Discovered rumored report that Detroit Pistons were suddenly in serious talks for Rasheed Wallace. Mind blown. Figured Ben Wallace or Darko Milicic had to be heading out of town. Found out it was Lindsey Hunter, Bob Sura and Zeljko Rebraca. Mind double blown.

Incredible birthday gift from the heavens.

When we traded Chris Webber to the Kings for Old butt Mitch Richmond..even though we got swept by the bulls that year..MJ said we were the toughest out that year for them..every game was close..and later that year we trade Webber because he got caught with some weed.

Favorite trade was us trading Kwame Brown to the Lakers for Caron Butler

In all honesty, I wasn't sure we'd ever hear from Webber again when he was sent to Sacramento. It was basketball Siberia at that point... I guess kind of like it is now. Only, back then, I couldn't really ever remember a time they were good. So watching that team blow up the spot was kind of wild.
