how to stop giving up offensive rebounds.

Wow, I just lost a game where my opponent shot 15/17 from 3 with Ruby klay thompson and curry. My point was ruby john wall, terrell brandon with extend pressure
SG's was Richard hamilton, Lock down tony allen, and Ruby gary payton at shooting guard.

I even put ben wallace on him and he was still scoring.

And I was outrebounded by 8 offensive rebounds. And I had crash defensive boards with amy demarcus cousins, ruby kat, ben wallace, diamond elvin hayes, diamond George mcginnis.

He just shot 3's and wild shots and he was getting the offensive rebound and kick out to a 3.

What am i doing wrong? Any suggestions?

I am in the Ruby League. I am just gonna put a all defensive unit and see if that helps any. ex. michael ray, cooper, prince, draymond, Yao.

Sounds like mismatched difficulty setting to me. Ruby is the beginning of Superstar, you could have playing someone on all-star or pro.

What works for me in these games is to slow it down, limit turnovers, and don't get frustrated with bs calls.

I dont chalk this up to equalizer. At least, not in my case.

I run a Pace, 5out or 4out set 100% of the time. Those sets spread the floor and create less opportunity for boards. Especially if your shooting mids/3s with your C or PF. A strong rebounding SF may help this.

This is more speculation than anything. Im really breaking down the weaknesses in my game, and this is one of them. Logically speaking, ^ makes sense. Id like to hear others' opinions on this.

yeah, because it so frustrating to have high 95 rebounds and box out stats, just to get outrebounded by lebron or kevin durant and then kick it out for another 3.

What were the made shots like? Contested? Moving? Contested moving? Open off of screens?

Is this a common occurrence, or just a one-time thing?

Contested moving shots and it happens with the USA lineup of the current Team USA players

I think i played that same team, i was up 14 he was 1/9 on 3s

3rd qrtr comes and dude bombed up around 15 3s and was grabbing every rebound and ended up winning by 18,

Was nothing i could do to get a rebound after halftime

I don;t know man, sometimes it is getting rediculous.

I am 10-0 in my PD 3rd prestige game. No stress, already won timmy and I was playing to get an extra diamond. to be honest I bit bored too after playing all this games and relieved after getting TImmy, wife moaning that I am stuck on PS4 all day (it was bank holiday today here) and I play against a guy, he scored plenty of contested shots, and in total he missed 12 shots on 2nd half and took 9 offensive rebounds.

He had Yao, and Alonzo. Good players, but I had good players too. Sometimes you can not win if you can not just take your own rebound.

Try playing with your boxout assist slider at 100.

Does that control all your CPU's at once, or just the player you're usering?

I think my boxout assist is at 50, and my Bigs CONSTANTLY forget to boxout if I'm not the one controlling them. It's even worse with a height disadvantage against guys like Yao because they seem to just slither around your defender easier.
