Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
They look great, but the jerseys in this game are so stiff. It just really doesn't look natural to me at all. I really hope that they can update the cloth physics in future versions of the game to make them looser and move around more. Other sports games look much better in this regard, especially NBA2k. Obviously that's not the fairest comparison, but it's really the only thing I can think of that can still be improved visually in The Show now that the player models, grass, and presentation have all been upgraded this year. Hopefully the devs agree and will work to make them look more natural in the future.
Things are looking amazing and in no way is this a complaint, but kinda a bummer that the throwback still have buttons even if they're pullover jerseys.
I think it be in shaded part of the field. I see the screen shot of the Indians in the red part of it looks darker in the shade.
This isn't the problem. The Indians jersey shows dark portions but the areas where light hits it the most it is brighter and correct. The Jays red jersey is just burgundy. Even the brightest areas are too dark.

Zooming in on the Ozuna pic it looks like the Marlins don't have that 2nd silver lining around the collar piping that mysteriously showed up in that Dee Gordon pic comparing Gordon's face in 16 and in 17.
It is, just have to right click the image and search google for it. Comes up as a MLB 16 screen shot.
I believe Ramone even confirmed that the trailer where that screen was pulled from was built using the MLB 16 engine.
And besides, "pre-beta" , as in Alpha phase, is usually an indicator that features are far from complete. I'd say for the San Diego team, maybe they don't even get into full Beta testing until the last few weeks prior to release - after they have art freeze, and general coding lockdown where no more code is being added unless it is to fix a bug. Maybe features that were finished entered testing several weeks ago.
