Hey guys. Looking at the preorders, and I see the $100 ones come with a gold and diamond pack. What are these?

The starter pack has a player that unlocks a mission. If completed, you'd get a Mission reward pack which contains a Diamond player for the diamond pack and a Gold player for the gold pack.

The Starter Pack and the Mission Reward Pack have a pool of players in each = good variety of players.

So if I wanted to get into diamond dynasty this year, the mvp copy of the game is a good idea? I've played the show since it's come out but never DD. Thanks

well the Digital Deluxe is probably the best for DD players. just a FYI, but it does cost more.

Worth is relative to what your goal is. Those who play DD throughly get their money's worth I'm sure with all the extra stubs and packs. However if you are a dabbler or not at all DD player then it's really not worth it imo.

I plan on going "all in" on the show this year so will be playing DD regularly for the first time while I wait for OSFM rosters to drop, so I plan on picking up the digital deluxe edition.

It really is based on what you intend to play, I would say if you have show '16 play DD on that for a chunk of time and see if it's for you then decide from there

It helps. I think I'm going to dive head first into DD this year. I play Hut a lot and love the whole set up of these modes. So I guess when I say is it worth it, I mean is it worth it? Like do the packs and extra stuff cost what the difference is? I don't know how much packs are and things like that. I do spend money on hut and I'll be spending on the show as well.

It helps. I think I'm going to dive head first into DD this year. I play Hut a lot and love the whole set up of these modes. So I guess when I say is it worth it, I mean is it worth it? Like do the packs and extra stuff cost what the difference is? I don't know how much packs are and things like that. I do spend money on hut and I'll be spending on the show as well.

It is worth if for $40 more you get 11k stubs worth $11 i think 20 packs $20 value a deluxe pack 4 players guaranteed gold. And i think im missing something else

You get the steel book and new era hat as well as what jm2054 stated above. I just pre ordered the hall of fame edition myself today as for the first time I'm going to actually use all those perks. Imo it's worth it as you get all that stuff upfront otherwise your either going to pay nearly $100 more for same thing or spread it out over a longer period of time to offset cost of getting those add on's separate

Yeah that's what I'm getting at. I don't care about the steel book or hat. So I don't want to pay extra for those. If the other stuff you get is worth it, then I'll do it. Because I could just buy from amazon and get it for 50 and buy 50 worth of packs and stubbs.

So I found out the preorder on amazon comes with the 10 packs and griffey. For prime members that's $50. The HOF edition from game stop is $100. I don't care about the hat, steel book and 31 themes. It comes with 11000 stubs which is worth $11. So the extra stuff I'd get would be 15 packs (10 for the HOF and 5 from gamestop), 1 sponsor pack, and a diamond pack and gold pack. Are these things worth $39? I'm thinking it is. If packs are $2, that's $30 right there. And it seems the gold and diamond packs are more. Am I breaking this down right?
