I think you're right, but I can't say I am not disappointed with some of the decisions heading into the event. Why Strowman had to suffer a clean loss before Mania baffles me. Goldberg vs. Lesnar doesn't seem any bigger with the Universal title in play, while a title for title match between Jericho and Owens or even having the Universal title on the line would have made that match bigger.

Oh well. At least New Day is only hosting.

They need to just merge the tag titles at WM and put the whole division on one show, seems like they've run out of every combo to feud on Raw

I agree with everything except the Universal title making the KO/Jericho match seem bigger/important. IMO it doesn't need the Universal title or even the US title, the way this was built up for a year with the addition of that awesome Festival of Friendship makes it unnecessary to have anything else on the line except for vengeance. It would've been nice to give Jericho one more title run since he does deserve it for his awesome 2016 run but the Universal title would've been a afterthought in the feud.

I was really expecting the Cruiserweights to get the Ladder Match this year but it seems it will just be a one on one match between Neville and Aries. Maybe one of the Tag Title Matches will be a Ladder Match unless they go for the IC Title again instead of making it a one on one between Corbin/Ambrose. Otherwise, I don't see them having a specialty match on the card this year.

Already on paper, this looks to be a better wrestling card than WM32 (the injuries killed them last year) but WM32 was a good entertainment show imo. I don't think the part-timers will have to play as big a role and this show doesn't really need all the theatrics that essentially saved last years show.

I hope in the Shaq-Big Show match we get Chuck and Kenny coming out and helping Shaq win, or Chuck costing Shaq the match. WWE blew big opportunity though not building up this match on TNT during all-star weekend. Inside the NBA should have things to set it up. What's the point of celeb appearances if you don't maximize the publicity?

Will Shaq be cheered in Orlando though?

After seeing the clip on YouTube of AJ going off on Shane in the back, it pretty much confirms they will have a match. I saw someone in the comments say that they should do a similar stipulation to Bryan vs HHH from Mania 30, where if AJ beats Shane he is added to the Title Match.

Would anyone be for that given the assumption that AJ would win and get into the title match?

But didn't him leaving for LA kinda leave real bitter taste in their mouths? Sure it's been 2 decades, but some fanbases don't forgive a guy for leaving the way he did, but others do after time.

I would be, I just don't see Orton and Bray putting on a great match 1 on 1, although you really can't shoehorn a third guy in to the story they're doing
