For me personally I'll probably go with either the standard or MVP edition. I don't play DD much so the stubs and packs aren't much of an incentive for the Digital Deluxe or Hall of Fame. I do like the custom themes and steelbook though, but not sure I'll splurge for an extra $10.

Which Edition of The Show Will You Get?
What version of the game are you guys planning on purchasing and why?

Re: Which Edition of The Show Will You Get?
I'm not a huge DD player but I bought the MVP for the overall value. I like the themes and Steelbook, and then all the extra bonus packs are just gravy. All of that for an extra $10 seemed like a good deal.
Plus, I'm hoping to get more into DD this year with all the single player challenges. Plus, I need to play some other modes while the masters of OSFM put those glorious rosters together. -
Re: Which Edition of The Show Will You Get?
Already got the hall of fame edition paid off, I really want that awesome hat and plan on playing a ton of dd this year. Also I figure 100 dollars for a game I play almost every day all year it will defintely be worth it.Psn: DiehardDetroitComment

I don't mess with anything other than Franchise and RTTS so I am just getting the regular plain magnificence of the standard edition. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Standard, MVP didn't have anything that interested me. HOF is too expensive for me..Favorites:

Re: Which Edition of The Show Will You Get?
I am a Season mode player who does 30 team control. In Season mode I wished that I had access to more than just the various 40-man rosters. But Franchise mode is too much work. I only care about playing one year at a time, I could care less about building some dynasty, etc, etc etc and well who cares about hot dog sales. Hot dogs only belong in your belly. But too many hot dogs is not good.
Anyway all I care about is playing my games trying to emulate the real world calendar as close as possible. All I really care about is who wins, who loses, who makes the playoffs and who wins in the playoffs and if I can get somewhat realistic player stats, that is icing on the cake. All I need is the Standard edition of the game. I could care less about the rewards, the cards and all the other stuff. In fact I would love it if the rewards could be turned off.Comment

I'm getting the MVP Edition because I'm a sucker for Steelbooks. I wanted the HOF Edition because of the cap but I couldn't justify paying 100 bucks for a video game.Comment

Re: Which Edition of The Show Will You Get?
Already ordered the digital deluxe off PSN while PSN had the spend $100 get a $15 credit promo, not a bad deal. I split my time between DD and franchise so the extra content should give me a nice boost with building my DD squad.

Re: Which Edition of The Show Will You Get?
HoF asw well, but only for the hat and steelbook. The other goodies dont interest me.
I still plan on looking for a MoMnPoP early release starting right after St. Paddy's day,
so I may wind up with 2 copies lolOSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Re: Which Edition of The Show Will You Get?
Standard (20% off w/Amazon prime)
I would like to get that hat in the HoF edition but in all honesty, I won't wear it and I don't have money for a collectable hat. I also won't spend money on stubs/packs so no reason to get any other edition but standard.
Last year I went digital but why not save some money with the disk.Comment

Re: Which Edition of The Show Will You Get?
Digital Deluxe.
I love digital downloads, very convenient for me.
I split time between Franchise, DD, and RTTS (somewhat evenly) and I could use all the packs and stubs I can get. I'm really looking forward to the Seasons in DD. Previously Head-2-Head games in DD meant nothing except rankings. You could win 10 games in a row and still get random Bronze cards. But with seasons, each game means something!
BR is way too hard, cheesers and the nature of 3-inning games leads to a lot of fluke wins/losses, and it just ended up being a waste of 1,500 stubs.
I love Franchise and I play all 162 with the Mets with 30-team control and I handle all of the weekly roster updates, lineups and real life trades.
And in RTTS last year I played with a 3B, still finishing his last few years of his career and currently have 680 career HR. Hoping I can catch the current leader*.
Next year in RTTS I'm going to make a Starting Pitcher and dominate the pitcher's mound this year after jogging around the bases in '16.
I'm a little bummed I won't be getting the Griffey hat, but I hope someone is selling it online.Comment
