If I were to make a wishlist the only things I would ask for out of this first FPW (because hopefully this sells enough to get another one) would be these things:

Unlimited Wrestler Spots - We aren't limited by PS2-era memory restrictions anymore, at least on PC. I'm not entirely sure what resource costs and programming needs would be needed on PS4 (in terms of menu being able to support that many wrestlers and stuff.)

Attire Editing - We already could make custom logos in FPWR, but I would like to see that same customization (pixel editor) brought to the trunks/pants/shirts. Again, I'm not sure on the costs of implementing this but it would be the absolute best (I'd say out of everything this is what we're least likely to see on my list?) Imagine seeing a fancy little sprite with a sprite version of an Elite shirt on? It's 2017, there's no reason they can't add this with a little work - or a basic version with a fuller fleshed out version for FPW2.

GM Mode - I don't mean like WWE2k17 GM Mode. This is the first release, I'd like to see even just a basic, super barebones mode just testing the waters. Even if it's just something where you can book cards over the course of an unlimited amount of years and those get basic barebone grades, with CPU promotions doing the same thing. Over the years this would grow into something where contracts and stuff are implemented (see something like the old GBA Fire Pro Games, but just unlimited time of play.)

On PC there is for Steam Workshop support. Not entirely sure how it will work on PS4 yet.

Steam Early Access is the perfect place for a title like this. Given the open nature of the pc I see this game potentially being a huge success as the community will have a hand in shaping the game. As long as the developers are open to the community and treat them with respect I don't see how this can possibly fail. It could turn into something huge with a cult following.

Steam Workshop will allow folks on PC to share creations. They said they're working on the potential to share full saves so that we don't have to download one wrestler at a time.

As for PS4, the director stated in an interview that they're still working on the best way to implement sharing. He said that they've tried some stuff in development, but are looking to make things more simple than what they've come up with.

Whatever way they go, they do have to be careful of potential legal issues.

pretty hyped- the gameplay of the 2k series leaves a lot to be desired

Meh, it isn't perfect but I thoroughly enjoy 2k17. Finally got my entire roster rated correctly, added about 75 CAWs, tons of arenas, etc., and I find the gameplay to be really fun. They also made several adjustments this year that I thought opened up more game modes that I had previously hated, most notably the 'roll out'.

That said, I'm pretty pumped about Fire Pro. The sharing on PS4 will be crucial for me though. Anxious to get a look at the game in motion.

Honestly the minute this was announced it became my most wanted game. It has everything I could ask for, mainly a pc version, ON STEAM(!!!!), and workshop support! The Early Access release can't come soon enough!!!

Yeah, but we live in a day where you can't just make blatant rip-offs of wrestlers like you previously could. Thankfully FPW is known for it's editing and community.

I actually prefer it that way. If FPW came with zero defaults I'd be just fine, provided those slots go to more edits.

My current FPR save is maxed out with over 800 real-life wrestlers from dozens of global promotions spanning multiple eras. Hopefully FPW ups the ante big time.

Trust me, the community is going to be all over this game. You'll get all sorts of packs. Specific eras, specific companies, Japan, Mexico, WWE, NXT, ROH, Impact, PWG... You'll likely get them all within the first 6 months.

Most of the guys who put the packs together for Returns right now are extremely excited to get to work.

In my opinion, yes. But, since you've never played any of the games, $10 is an especially nice entry point for the series. Fire Pro is great, but it's not for everyone. It's quite different from the WWE games, so fair warning.

This is just one person's opinion, but based on the 1,000+ hours I've put into FPR over the years, I'd say it's worth it several times over. But honestly, you will probably want to get involved with the Fire Pro community to get the most out of it. 500 slots is a lot of rasslers and you probably won't want to make them all by yourself.
