Soble's NHL 17 Realism Sliders (6-8 mins/Allstar)

The slider base I used, was from user jweidow23 who seems to be inactive as of Dec 2016. He already had an amazing set of sliders, but I wanted to see how far I could really push them. So here they are!! I see these as a final set but I'm alway open to hearing what the community has to say!

Tried the original slider set on 15 min before,bit to long for me,so you going 6-8 is great.
Any chance of posting stats from a few games?
Main issue for me is CPU passing %

Yeah I can post some stats, I'll play a few games and post later tonight!! Yeah the original guy did a great job at creating the base, I just wanted to fine tune for shorter periods and also create a faster paced game at the same time. I feel there are more things I could tweak but I'm curious to know what everyone else thinks!

I tried a few tweaks during my franchise gaming tnite.
1.pass acc for both to zero
Makes the game "looser" more lost pucks,more chances created in front of the goals,especially the CPUs goals,more "different " goals,bouncing pucks,dropped pucks by the CPU
According to my findings that makes the CPU and human controlled players playing to their stats

Downside is that the CPU becomes sharp in other areas,especially shooting,so either raise gk reaction time,or lower attributes effect.
But the game plays amazing

I'll give this a try and see what it feels like. I'm going to play a few games now and take some photos to upload. I totally forgot to play the other night haha

Slider Update #2: Pass Accuracy!!

I'm actually really shocked how well this worked. I felt like I was fully in control of where I wanted the puck to go and it was sloppy enough to open up so many scoring opportunities I've never seen this far!! As far as any other issues I felt the goalies did a great job shutting down most of the shots on net. So here it is Thanks for the recommendation Ettnollbajen!!

Great,yes the game becomes more "alive" when setting it to zero.
Good stats aswell.
Since I always play with manual passing on FIFA/PES and feel that NHL passing should be the same,being able to be in full control this opens up the game a lot

EDIT: just realised that my gk reaction time was set to 40/50 CPU/human
Explains a lot...cranking it up to your recommendation

How is it playing now that you've cranked up the reaction time?

My impression is that it's changed
Better :no skating team mates in your way,players reacting faster,not as sluggish in def.
Worse: think it feels "rubber bandy" not as loose as before.

Then again my settings aren't a 100% setup as yours.
I think I have them on my "play now"
Might try them out later on.
If you play franchise with them,let me now if it feels different pal

I've only used these in my franchise, so far I don't feel any difference. I would say as of right now everything is perfect, I'm thinking about possibly adjusting shot power especially on slap shots, there are times when I'll hit it so hard it will bounce off the back glass and on to the back of the goalie.

I noticed the change in shooting aswell.
Might need to lower it.
Liking this patch,might need to adjust CPU aggression,think it's a bit to easy around the net.

Yeah I'm working with some adjustments right now on shooting, I feel wristers are spot on. The thing with the aggression slider is that it's hard to make an adjustment without the CPU always on your balls. I'll have to look into that carefully. I'm curious to know how AI Learning works. I've heard the lower the number the more they learn about your paths, but I've also heard the higher the number the more they learn your paths, so i don't know which one is correct.

This can't be a FULL game! Toronto only had 4 shots the whole game and you had 15!

Also passing % is way too low!!!

Am I missing something???

Nice work! I really like the free flowing passing game. And the "loose" puck 👍🏻
