I feel like a lot of the content was unnecessary as many of the topics were already discussed in previous streams.

That's probably why they decided to condense the stream schedule--because they had already talked most things out. They were originally slated to do just rtts this week and graphics next week, if I recall.

The 3 options are ONLY for the Pro.

HDR is the only option for standard PS4s. If you don't have HDR, then yes, you will miss out on that.

A Pro on a 1080p Non HDR TV will benefit from those options however. Just won't have HDR.

I said I wasn't going to do this but now I am considering changing my stance on upgrading. 2 weeks to figure all this out.

That comparison of Schwarber with body sliders on/off is super eye opening. The difference in shoulder width makes a HUGE difference. They fixed "C" on Cubs helmets. I have so much more respect for these art guys. They really are doing an outstanding job Listening to feedback and implementing cool stuff. I love how the lead art guy prob doesn't even care about baseball, but is so good in the graphics department.

Are these two of the new choices for heads? Or do we need to use...up up down down left right left right B (circle) A (x) start to access this feature?

Did the stream start early today? I thought they were always at 2 pm Pacific.

Upgrade! I think you wouldn't regret it. You'll eventually upgrade your tv at one point too I'm sure. Whole reason I upgraded now.

ok guys, im at work and cant watch the stream,quick question, I have a ps4 slim and a 4k hdr tv, will I be able to turn on HDR like i can in uncharted? thanks guys.

Yes. HDR works with any PS4.

Did the stream start early today? I thought they were always at 2 pm Pacific.

Yes, the earlier stream (graphics) is already over and archived. There is another stream later today and then a dev tournament.

Reason I haven't gotten a new TV is because I only use this one for gaming and it has been great for me for the last 6 years. Not sure my wife would agree with me getting another one.

HDR isn't needed. It helps with the lighting, shadows, color but framerate option alone makes my upgrade worth it. You'll still get higher resolution with the enhanced graphics option even without enabling HDR.

Bottom line: The ideal thing would have HDR plus the options but with a 1080p non HDR, you'll still get the benefits that standard PS4 won't have.

Appreciate your input man. Thanks. Haven't paid much attention to all the HDR type stuff recently so don't know much about it. Want to figure out the best way to upgrade if I do.

i just bought a 55`` samsung smart tv but not 4k. if i buy a ps pro would i have all these options available?
