Can't post the link here for some reason, but check out my franchise mode play with the most realistic slider settings I've managed to get in coach mode (CPU vs CPU)

Search youtube for: "NHL17 on xbox one, realistic sliders. BOS - WSH 1st period action"


I could post the sliders here when I have the time

I think I'm going to make a video to show all the sliders when I have the time to do so. ..still easier to do than write them down here

I'm just coaching with 14 minute periods and getting close to realistic shot counts, hits and goals for and against. Penalties are a bit erratic at times, no matter what the sliders

Thanks for posting the sliders. On quick view of the sliders, you had some sliders where the HUM and CPU values were different. Does that still make a difference in CPU v CPU?

Yes. I play coach, so it's not really just CPU vs CPU and the ice is always slightly tilted in the CPU's advantage it seems. Giving the user a bit better acceleration and stickchecking helps the defensive side of things for the user team. It's quite even now I think.
