Yeah I mention him because he isn't on the OP for this thread, and looks like hes gonna be on the 25 man team, but I don't know if he was in MLB 16 game last year, so may have to transfer him from MLB 15 to get him to 17

He was in 16. He was with the Phillies in spring training last year.

I just checked MLB 16 and Ernesto Frieri was in it with a portrait. I don't know if this means he'll be in 17 but his SCEA player from 16 could at least be used to make a CAP for 17 if needed

it's good that we can skip spring training this year must easier to sim a year to get service time fast.

Huge shout out to PhilliesFan13. He's been a huge help this past weekend. The following players have been confirmed in or out.

Unless some of the guys are added with the launch day roster update the list is even bigger than originally thought. Some of these guys were added in weekly roster updates in 16.

my guess is if some of those people are on a 25 man roster right now they will be in the launch day roster update, Matt Joyce last year is one that comes to mind that was added in last year.

I made a list last year and got those players added who should have been in the game at launch, they didnt have a real player status but they did add them. I am sure I probably could make a list again and get guys added who played in the majors last year that were left off this year for whatever reason with there correct service time, career stats etc..

Can someone confirm Chris Beck is in there? I did not see him on the White Sox in the MLB/AAA Youtube video that was floating around.

This is not always the case, look at MLB 16 Rickie Weeks was missing, but was on MLB 15 but then you do the normal carry over and thinking you can just edit him right? well he had this generic white face with black arms and he was NOT editable, because he was still in the MLBPA.

I am hoping this is not the case this year that we are able to use MLB 16 franchise carry over and can edit these guys int who they should be. There were several last year that had that white face guy but you couldn't edit them.

wasn't their a bug last year or mlb 15 when we couldn't edit players in franchise and they had to patch it?? can't remember what year it is/

that is a very annoying thing that if it's not editable that means its not exportable either. a real pain because then we would have to wait for the first roster update in mid April if this happens again.

out of this list though how many will actually be on a 25 man roster?? or even 40, not really that many. most are AAA guys or washed up on the edge of retirement.

Guys like Thanes and Wheeler come to mind.

Can anyone confirm if Koda Glover is in there for the Nats? Saw someone scroll through the Nats MLB and AAA rosters and I didn't see him. He pitched in 19 games for Washington last season and has a good shot of opening up the season as their closer so I would hope I just missed him.
