MLB 17 - Underdog13's Fictional Roster
Hey All, for the past couple of seasons I've been making custom rosters of about 8-10 teams for myself that I've really enjoyed. This season since I've found out I can't carry over my franchise 
. I've decided that I want to make 30 custom 25 man rosters to use in season mode. I will update progress on here with screenshots and I'll upload updates to the vault periodically till I'm complete.
With the past rosters I've made and what I will do similarly with this one is...
- Ratings will be lower than typical mlb players, average skill will be in the 40s, top level skills will be in the 70s-80s.
- Pitchers will have less pitches, almost all relievers will have 3 pitches and likely only 1 or 2 good ones. A good starter will have 4, a few will have 5.
- Most speciality pitches, you don't get to see alot of running fastballs and vulcan changes, knuckleballs, etc. I like to incorporate more of those then base rosters.
- Players will have more personality, more unique and memorable pitching motions and batting stances, cool name, equipment, etc.
- Teams will have more of a certain 'style' of play. Similar to super mega baseball with power, speed, balanced, pitching teams.
- Teams will also be built more so to their home park. Some teams will be built for a classic stadium to be their home park. E.g, Cardinals and Sportsmen Park.
- Not necessarily trying to replicate the pro game, more of a sandlot style play, more contact, less hard throwing pitchers, more errors, etc.
