YouTube Gamer Hits 602 Foot Home Run

I kid you not - this ball went 602 Feet. Definitely raises some big questions about the physics in this year's game, since this is not physically possible.

HRs are way overpowered it seems. Need evidence? The next batter up already had a HR...and then hit another and the game is about halfway through!

It seems that the default sliders--assuming that's what this guy was using--are a bit too arcadey? YMMV.

First off lets add a little perspective to this video before everybody jumps off a cliff here.

I know Bobby Crosby and follow his page. He is playing on Rookie levels with a maxed out 99 everything player in RTTS. So just be aware that is the way he plays the game, solely for entertainment purposes.

So it is not fair or even reasonable to judge anything about this game from his videos. Except for the fact that he has a lot of fun, so what difference it makes, as long as he is having fun.

Agreed. I watched some of his RTTS from last year, and in like the month of may he wa hitting over .700 with 30 bombs and 100 RBI. Not a good example for this subject.

Regardless, you will never in your life see a 600ft HR. NEVER! That's the problem with the video, not the fact he hit a homerun on Rookie with 99 power.

You know what I am done with this. You all just go right ahead and jump off the cliff, the sky is falling whatever you like. Nothing will ever help you all. I am just going back to playing the game and having fun, since I am not seeing any of the problems you all are.

              Have a great day.

If you use unrealistic setting you're liable to get unrealistic results. Now if you want to simply complain for the sake of complaining no matter the circumstances, carry on.

I'm not complaining lol. I'm just saying...600ft homerun will never be seen irl, ever. It's fun and all to see I guess but cmon. One thing this game prides itsekf on is realism. 600ft HR is not realism. Neither is 450ft bombs by Brett Gardner I've read about either (Allstar default I believe).

Again, not complaining, just my opinions.

Again rookie mode all traits jacked to 99. Think about it.

While I do think HR's are a tad overdone, Jake Arrieta has hit multiple 450ft+ bombs... this stuff is possible.

If someone like me is hitting for power on Hall of Fame difficulty, you know there's a problem.

I believe that the "in play" ball physics are really nice and it appears that long HRs are the trade off to having these new physics.

Yeah, blue-sky-world we don't have trade offs.
Real world, we do and it's a trade I would make 100 times over.
